I know I'm not a footbag company. I was trying what Zac Miley suggested. I never said you people don't know what you're talking about at any point in time. I didn't realize wanting to try something before I buy it was such a horrible thing.

It wasn't fields fabrics. It was ultrasuede.com. If I can't find ultrasuede at a local retail store, I don't know how the hell I'm supposed to feel what it's like to have any idea whether or not it's what I want to use it for. It doesn't matter if I'm a footbag company or not, because they said they specifically DO NOT sell to footbag companies. Apparently they have something against footbag. I'm not taking it personally, I just find it very arrogant and dumb to just single out a particular group of people that would give them business and refuse to sell to them. What if someone from their company came to the pharmacy where I work, and I refused to fill their prescription just because they work for a fabric company. "we don't sell medicine to fabric makers."

Whatever, I don't give a shit. Go tell someone who might care, like a mod, if you have a problem with it. I requested this topic be locked a long time ago, but it's still here. It's my topic, and I'll do with it as I damn well please until/unless a mod does something about it.

I seem to recall a few posts where I was being told to respect the community and whatnot... That was not relavent to this topic's title either, yet nobody gave that person hell for typing it here. Gotta love that double standard...

Just take care when modding the G-units down to the inner mesh layer (in your shoes, black mesh layer) because sometimes in larger sizes that layer tends to peel or rip itself off from the sole, leaving a huge hole around the clipper area. For whatever reason this might be, I just believe that Reebok wants to cut costs and just have that part glued down instead of having it reinforced with stitches.

I've seen this happen in around size 10s and up. Not sure about any sizes below that range. Modding the shoes Laver style, or leaving the white padded mesh intact won't have this problem.

Just cuz I want to make footbags out of their material. Wtf do they care what I make out of it? As long as I buy their shit, they make money. Well, if that's how they want to be, then fuck 'em.

First of all, you are not a footbag company. You are a freelance footbag stitcher. Big difference.

Second of all, online businesses, as a rule of thumb (not fact), will always have a much more limited stock reserved for online sales than on the field within a retail store. Footbag companies, or companies in general by and large, will always try to find the most convenient and quickest route to spur business within the buy/sell practice. Whatever takes the least manpower to get what is necessary, and the quickest, most efficient, and least costly/most revenue gaining approach to getting the sale is the route to take. So, in layman's terms, "one-button-click" investments on the internet take the least involvement in getting this process over with. This is why they would have this disclaimer for you to read; it's for practical reasons, not sentimental reasons.

I don't know if the message you received was necessarily from Field's Fabrics, but if it is, don't take it to personally.

Back on investing facile: just get some facile. Plain and simple. You don't need to bark at every negative detail in getting the fabric (pricing, negative quip at footbag companies, etc.). Samples are samples; getting something for free doesn't necessarily mean you're getting something good in return, or have a dandy advantageous opportunity to reap on.
However, here on modified we know what we're talking about, especially the veteran footbag stitchers that have spent years making footbags. We've been through shit and hell to get what we need, and we produce amazing stuff with what we find.

And we've found that Field's Fabrics is a very efficient website to buy facile from.
