Yeah I didn't plan the background but when I was finished with the figure, the plain flat background looked awfully boring so I had to do something .

On Windows you can open the downloaded swf in flash player. I've never used a Mac so I don't know anything about it. I hoped that going for Flash was the best option for cross-platform compatibility. Guess I was wrong

What's the problem? You can't run flash? You need Flash Player 10 http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and to view PDF files you need a PDF reader like Adobe Reader http://get.adobe.com/reader/
