Re: お疲れ様

Nice work on the Round of 16 Shred Off; the increased density and difficulty were very noticeable.    Thanks, Ken. It is good to hear someone else say that, and not have it just be a thought in my head. Each run was basically the same in terms of variety, despite being able to hit more that what wa...

Re: I feel your pain

I've finished all my Worlds videos. Congrats! That must be a relief. I have a weird love/hate with them myself. Like, on one hand I can't wait to be done with them, but on the other hand I know I'll be sad once it's all over. I agree with the 'Congrats!' and the relief/love/hate thing. I have yet t...

Re: Round of 16 judging results

It looks like the Top 8 for shred off has been announced. The results have been pretty clear as day in terms of who the judges voted for, with the exception of a few. Just to clarify, the Worlds Team kindly provided the scoring cards for every matchup so we could see how each judge voted for each m...

Re: Kankeri Japan

This 1v1 format for Shred-off is wild. Thats a great entry! The first link is awesome. Really like your drifter form, and loved the mid-string fairy rake. Good luck, hope you get to the next round! Thanks for that. Yeah as I mentioned I rarely go for 5s, let alone link them together so was happy to...

Maybe far guay -> fairy clipper -> drifter -> rpt. Might be able to pull that off next session.. the flip fairy I can do, but I can get it accurate enough to get the muted clipper.
Awesome, sounds good, and looking forward to seeing you hit it. I'll have a go too.

I think Worek will be baped this worlds, he is just destroying in shred off and sick3 so far
Interesting thought. I hadn't really thought about BAP so far. I suppose he would be a good candidate. Has he been active on other forums in the past years? Not on social media so not sure.

Re: Starting over

Great progress. Your delays are looking better and better. Very smooth, and you can see the confidence increasing. I also think it's great that you have made it a point to practice both sides from the beginning. Really can't stress enough how important that is for your game. Continue doing that! Cli...

Re: Kankeri Japan

Just got my shred-off video uploaded. I have mixed feelings about the entry, and I think it stems from the fact that this round is 1-vs-1. Here are my thoughts: Pawel is really good. I watched his previous entries and made notes about his tricks. I can't match them. Then again, it is not necessarily...

Re: Kankeri Japan

Here are the comments from facebook on your routine for your reference: Daniel Boyle - Nice movement across the stage. I was hoping it was going to be a Rocky style entrance when you came out through the boxing bags! Rory Dawson - ... A rocky style entrance would have been cool, but next time I thi...

Thanks for posting. Glad that Ken made it through! Too bad that Taishi didn't make it, but oh well; some people are really good at footbag!

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle

Like the painting. Is that somewhere in NZ? Yup, it is just up the west coast from Wellington. I took a tour of the art gallery and one of the things mentioned was how when Pākehā (NZ Europeans) came to NZ and saw places like Mana island, they saw a location void of life (since no one lived on it) ...

Re: Dizzying Worlds Developments

One weird feeling I've been struggling with throughout these Worlds has been my strong desire to comment candidly on the competition (like an announcer at the Olympics)...which I have to keep in check since I'm ALSO a competitor in said competition. Yeah I was surprised how quiet you had been these...

3 bags juggling!
Nice work! What is your record for three bag? I think mine is 21 catches. I should practice that more. Why do I only bring 2 bags with me to sessions?

Re: World's 2020

Top 16 just got announced. Interestingly, I have been in pools with Pawel throughout the tourney so far. Now I am paired with him in the next round of shred-off.
