Re: Bags You've Made

First Alfbag I made in quite a while. I stitched the first 3 panels, put the bag aside for around 2 years or so and just finished it in one sitting last weekend. It doesn't look as clean as my earlier ones, but feels great! After half a week of occasional handrolling, the gather also straightened up...

Re: Starch Spray

Just keep the shape while being in the air. But it should be soft when landing on your shoe. :) I think it's the same question with the thick and thin fabric you posted. Thick pents and thin hexes makes for a bag that is nicely round in the air, but stalls well becuase it "collapses" when hitting a ...

Re: Panel thickness

You usually use thicker fabric for pents and thinner for hexes. That makes the bag more stally, while being stable in the air. But if you wnat to make a "round" bag, I'd do thick fabric for both, hexes and pents.

Re: Lacoste 1951

Is that the inside of the shoe or the outside? I want to see how the "clipper area" looks like. I tried to find a picture of the inside, but couldn't.

Rod Lavers and footbags for sale

Hi everybody, since I'm in the final planning stage of moving abroad, I sadly need to get rid of a lot of the stuff I collected throughout my life. In footbag related terms, that would be my footbag collection, rod laver shoes and the fabric I hoarded over my now 7 plus years of stitching. Since I d...

Re: I^2 Footbags - 14s, 32s and 92s

I have one of Ivan's 32s I got in a trade a while ago and have to say it's a really beautifully made bag. It's a mix of facile, some dope golden microsuede and ?amaretta? and is extremely soft right out of the envelope. The stitching is very even and combined with the gather makes for a very good lo...
