Re: Muffinman
Lol thanks TJ. Yeah, I would love to be able to play like Dylan! Spinning and ducking are my favourite elements anyway, so that will be fun to focus on more exclusively. Jammed with Alex again on Saturday. My physiotherapist wanted me to up the difficulty a bit, so I slipped in some stepping (ripwal...

The Twitter embeds are nice and seamless. Well done! Great, fun clips as always!
It's too bad about the low turn-out for Worlds. High representation from Europe, though! And also, Mattias Schmidt!

Re: Kankeri Japan
Great stuff! Dyno x15 is a lot!! Blender > pdx blender would be sick! For visiting Japan, we'd probably come for 1 week minimum, maaybbe push it to 2 weeks? But we only have ~4 weeks total vacation per year, and it'll depend on projected costs too, so we'll see. Probably not next year for some work ...

Re: Cass shreds - USO 2023
Great to read your write-up and experience an event vicariously. Sounds like it was a fun time! What does this mean though? Because of lack of number of active NA players?:
Cass wrote:Footbag events have been few and far between these last few years, for obvious reasons.
Re: Mathieu
Great to hear you're playing, and also that James is as well! Video plz!
Re: Muffinman
Thanks TJ! Yes, I have a bad habit of pushing too hard after an injury D: I've been playing every week since my last post but didn't write anything here since I haven't really increased difficulty at all, just duration. I'm now at 1x 25 min session per week, and after this week it'll be up to 30 min...

Is top post painting still a thing? https://jonathanlevineprojects.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/JeremyGeddes_PaleMemory.jpg Wow, 4-5 fearless. Sounds so easy for you! Is that you record? Khoa is one of the most enthusiastic, upbeat people I've ever met! He reminds me of Tom Mosher. Such a nice guy...

Re: Kankeri Japan
Can I join this club too? My left side pixie set is way worse than the other side, though I feel I've improved it a bit in recent years. Hmm. I'll have to talk to Erik first, but it should be ok... Congrats on the successful presentation! The travel sounds fun. We still plan to visit Japan fo...
Re: Muffinman
Exciting to hear that you're playing, even if it's just low impact - it would be exciting for you to go from NOT being able to kick at all to being able to do SOMETHING. Do you think just kicking (consecutive kicks etc) would be helpful to you? It may be less impactful than the "bouncy" sort of sty...
Re: Muffinman
Wow, 2 years have passed in the span of a single page of this blog. But I actually have footbag news for once. My physio homework was to play 10 min of low-level footbag this week. It went really well and I'm in very minimal pain the next day. It felt sooo good even though I did basically nothing. I...

You're so prolific with the vlog! I kind of wish I vlogged, but so that nobody saw it because I have nothing interesting to say lol. But it looks so fun the way you edit together your highlights! And not just the hacky. Sorry to hear you caught Covid. Hopefully nothing lingers when you're able to sh...

Re: Kankeri Japan
Great to see you updating so much. I've also struggled with flip pixies for my whole career. Sometimes they are so ugly when midstring out of something that takes effort. I always find that keeping the dex closer to my body, under my face, and my knee pointed my inward are the things that help the m...

Congrats on the job, that's so awesome! So much hard work and planning for yeeaars paid off must feel incredible! Congrats also on the family! I haven't been here in a while and that's news to me! I also didn't know that you were back in Japan until Dante mentioned it to me when we were chatting a w...
Re: Muffinman
BACK TREATMENT I was just visiting Modified for the first time in forever to reminisce in my own blog lol, thought I would drop an update. I still haven't played footbag since that fateful day, but I've been doing physio for a few months now with the goal to be able to play again... some day. After...
Re: Muffinman
Played for about 20 minutes on Thursday with Alex and Mark, but then hurt myself trying blurry reaper out of nowhere and I've been pretty badly hurt since, so no hack for at least another week probably. Maybe longer? Bleh. The session before that (June 24) was pretty good, though, with Mark and Adam...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
Ahh, super neat that they opened up submissions for TSG! I guess I don't follow enough footbaggers on Instagram to know what's going on, but it also sounds like that's where most of all the current footbag video content is these days. Anyway, great combos and videos as usual!

Great stuff. You seem to be playing pretty frequently. Nice highlights!
Do you have a goal to program something with C? Do you have a background in programming? Just curious
