If those reasons are true, why is it the US in particular that they hate? There a plenty of countries like that. Why don't they hate New Zealand or Sweden or Canada? Why is it particularly the United States? Why don't the Al Queada spokesmen and leaders ever use those reasons? Why do they always say...

I wish you'd read what I wrote. Many historians believe that the SALT treaties, especially while Gorbachev was in power were the world's chance to get rid of its nuclear arsenal. DO some research. I don't understand how you can refrute something like that. You talk like the US didn't have a chemical...

Five reasons why the US is hated by the Arab world 1) The presence of US troops at Islams most scared place (Mecca) - Imagine if there were Al Queada troops hanging around at your churches. 2) The continuing support of the Isreal government by the US governement. 3) The trade in weapons of tourture ...

When I said he targeted his fellow lefties, I was talking about target audiences, not having a crack at. Also I didn't ask if you hated him, just what you saw in show. Also - I think the attitude "so what if the arab world hates us" is still alive and well in American foreign policy. I can't think o...

Yeah but the long term goal of signing the Salt treaties was to eventually get rid of all nuclear weapons - or at least that was the Russians main goal. Many historians, as I understand believe that that was the US's chance and they failed - I guess the same could be said of the Russians.

Nobody suggests China or Russia giving up all they're nukes so Korea can follow it's example. Even that suggestion would be completely laughed at. Infact in the 80s Gorbachov signed a treaty (SALT - Strategic Arms L? Treaty) with the US that was supposed to lead to both countries getting rid of the...

Comparing greenhouses gasses to murderers is a huge stretch. -n Sorry I just have to ask this - Are you retarded? No offence, I don't have anything against mentally handicapped people and I'm not asking because you're opposing my arguement, but I don't want to abuse you about your intelligence if y...

To be honest though - I think it really depends on the players. In our circles we try to have a mix of levels (if we have more than one circle) so that there are good players with weak players and we have a lot of self serving. But there is a lot less selfserving when only the good players turn up b...

It's funny that the two main arguments used against self serving are: 1) I don't get enough of the bag. 2) It's selfish to self serve. Now I think these arguments have mainly came from different people, but it seems like there is a massive difference of opinion between non selfservers. I think self ...

I was just wondering what it is you like about the simpsons - I assume you are a fan, but since Matt Groening is a very left wing political person and most of the comedy in the simpsons is also political and targeted towards fellow lefties - I was wondering what you see in it?

Uses more water? Who's water are we stealing? Last I liked looked, Mexico was breaking their treaty and not sending any back into Texas. Greenhouse emissions? Guest, Your comparisons are weak. Guest said: --------- The USA is by no means superior to any other country on the planet. -------- Wrong. They are many reasons why our nation is superior than many failed, miserable, hell-on-earth dictatorships. We should not adopt any of these failed cultures. An...

Yeah, I'm against self serving, although since I've been playing for about two years now and got my first chance to shred in a circle about a month ago, I've been a bit of a self server. Locking Threads

Look, something that really pisses me off on this forum is Rob locking threads for what seems like very petty reasons, or beacuse of one or two stupid posts. Someone comes up with a good topic for debating and maybe one or two idiots make insulting posts and the thread immediatly gets locked. Why? I...
