Update/redo job's notation?

Post by bulio » 22 Apr 2005 15:17

Hi everyone,

I was reading on Job's notation, and find it pretty hard to understand, and if you don't learn it properly, it's a pain to use. What I was thinking, is that members of the footbag community get together one day and get add-on to job's notation to make it simpler, and easier to learn. If anyone is interested, add me to msn, (see sig) and we can all have a meeting some time soon.

No offense or anything but I don't see what's not to understand. You mentioned before that you already looked on footbag.org and it still didn't help. They have a detailed tutorial that I assume you've carefully read though.
I think it'd be hard to simplify Job's...it's pretty simple already.

Yeah, if we ought to redo the notation, we should make less simple, simply because Job's notation and the ADD-system are hopelessly over-simplified.

If you can't learn Job's from .org, you simply, as we say, have to bite the sour apple and seek help!

I agree, Job's is pretty simple -- once you understand it, it's cake (except for moves like hopover and crap...). I also have a tutourial at http://www.hackrifice.com/faq.html that may help.
