winter

Post by brycimus » 17 Jan 2007 13:40

what do you guys do in the winter. i live in VA, and we just got over some warm days in, now it's like 20something. do you guys still go outside and play or do you play inside. there's no where to play inside at my house, however, we're building an addition, so i'm thinking about playing in there

I love cold weather. When I went up to Lockport, NY over the Christmas holiday... it was 25 something out and covered in snow. Second day, I went out in my Lavers, shorts, and gloves and shredded for about and hour and a half. Couldn't have been more perfect. Couple days later went to the YEAH Jam in Geneseo and it was inside, still good though. I guess you could say I can do fine in both, though I do prefer colder weather. It helps with the cool down after a session as well.

I move everything out of the way in my living room and play. If theres people inside i may shred in some pants outside. During the midday its usually warm enough to go out in some shorts. Footbag will keep you warm.

yah, i went outside for about 30 minutes, i'm not doing big shred sessions right now, i usually go in after about 30 minutes, slow progress, but still fun, plus, i usually end up shredding after school too, so its like 4:30 or so when i start so it gets dark in like an hour

I'm always playing in my garage during the winter. Its got lots of space, good lighting and a decent sound system set up. Playing in cold weather is great cause you can shred for hours on end. If I'm playing inside, I usually get worn out way faster. I don't know how the heck you could shred outside in Michigan though, with all the snow and ice (not to mention the chilly breeze) you'd either turn into an icicle or break a leg.

I just continue to play outside, as if it were summer. Some days t shirt, some days not..

The only obstacle is good lighting, if there isn't good light, I just find a few foot by few foot spot in my house somewhere, and drill some trick over and over again...

I still sweat alot, and get really warm :?:

It snowed today! O_o First time here in two years pretty much. I'll definitely be shredding outside later.

Only 53 degrees here. Still good shred weather.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.
