So I went to the gx international show which is Christians skateboarding, BMX, dancing and spreading the word of Christianity. I mentioned putting a footbag spot in the show. They were like hacky sack so I was like yes footbag just another term, the term for the sport. So they were interested so if there’s any Christian footbaggers that would like to play footbag and spread the word of god. We might be able to get it in the show which travels all over the world and around the U.S

Re: gx
Just my opinion.. but anything that has 'Christian' tagged onto it is just an ineffective way to try and get cheap preachy church-tactic publicity. Spreading 'the word of god' is one thing...but... we're trying to spread footbag more than religion. Mixing the two will just cause more mixed emotions from people who havn't heard of the sport. It will be like any other thing mixed with church:hackmasterkyle wrote:~ so if there’s any Christian footbaggers that would like to play footbag and spread the word of god. People will think, 'oh...it's just some dinky little church affiliated thing to get local teens to do something other than drugs.' Aside from that....I'm totally turned off by the idea of Saturday night 'Youth Group Hack-Circles'. It just dosn't seem like a good idea to me.

How is publicity to footbag via GOD any worse that ublicity to footbag trough COCA-COLA, or any other corporate sponsored campaign?

I'd join your army of religious extremists in the name of footbag any day. But if it's in the name of footbag you're doing this, then you can ignore my religious preferences.
