I fell down the stairs today because of the traction (or lack of) on the bottom of them. Shit myself.
Running down to get my cornflakes and WHAM, i end up on my ass at the bottom of the stairs while my dog excitedly licked me. It wasnt my morning.

Ah. That brings me back to the memory of my first competition I ever went to. We were playing 4-square and I went to save myself with an outside kick. My planted foot slipped out from under me and I fell pretty hard.

Lavers are the suxxors for traction. You could, however, glue some sandpaper to the bottom. Or shoe goo.

If you need any other nonrealistic and phantastical solutions, pm me. But yeah, I wouldn't walk down the street in those damn things... just jump in place and kick around and stuff.

Well no these were brand new and seem to be getting better. Suppose i was just unprepared and bad foot placement.

Some girls I know spray hair spray on the soles of their shoes to improve grip while playing netball. It could work with lavers.

When leaning up against my car my lavers tend to lose all traction at just the right moment in a social gathering, while all the attention is on me, so that I loook like a total idiot... But Hey, "When in Rome"

That was by far the loudest "smack" I've ever heard in my life.

Speaking of bloody lavers, I always seem to develop rather nasty blisters from wearing them, especially w/o socks. I wouldn't think much of it, but I never have any problems with my feet. Considering the ammount of hiking I do, this seems remarkable. Anybody else with the same problem?
