I know i've been posting alot of posts, maybe it was a bit annoying, but its been raining non stop for 5 days here in NY. K anyways, I've been stitching 14 panels (squares, triangles) and they are all leaking.
the triangle is a little bit longer than the square, I dont know if I'm stitching it wrong, maybe a stitch on the tips of the triangles? Okay, no, I dont like the way it makes them look.
I stitch pretty tight, like 1-2 mm stitches and about 1/8 inch deep. I dont know what I'm doing wrong, and heres another problem:
I cant close the bag right, thats where it leaks the most, I make the knot and It wont go in the bag sometimes, and when it does go in, the bag leaks, so wtf.
but... I've been using fine sand from quikrete at home depot. but it doesnt leak out of any of my other bags, only my 14! Maybe I need more gather, I'm only doing it until I see the tiniest ripples maybe ripplas that are about 1-2 mm wide.
Maybe with all this info somebody can help me on my footbag sewing journey. (I just bought facile!)
Leaking bags
start with stitching 4 panels to get your confidence up. use these perameters... http://ben.unhq.com/hack/patern/mr-sand ... s2.JPG.jpg and a bb filler. If you can get a close enough stitch, sand is okay too, but throw in a few bb's to even out the weight.
