You did a really good job with the stripes! Props!

For the climacool purist I HIGHLY recomend taking off the top layer of mesh on the toe area.

It halves the thickness and doubles the feel/grip. Good shit, trust me.

Get it started at the edge and snip the little fibers connecting the two layers together.

Keep working it back slowly until it is removed up to the lacing.

Pretty sweet on the mod for the insides. I bet this will take away a lot of frustration in modding them when it's with this method.

my climas bring all the boys to da yard... and theyre like... its betta than yours... damn right... its betta than yours!

enough of that.

my new euro climas are being shipped to me tomorrow from france an will arrive in 5 or so days!!! they are marroon/green/yellow... does anyone have these? if so, does the mesh come off the toe the same way the clima1 mesh comes off? do the french shoes differ much from clima1s? i dont want to mess these ones up.

The mesh is slightly less robust on euro's.

You can do the mesh mod but be very careful.

I've never, ever done a Brocka mod, but I think I want to try it. How does it work on Climas? I mean... how well does it play? Does it make a big difference? As big of a difference as it makes with Lavers?

I want to be able to osis

Erik, brocka mods are required based on anatomy. If you crank and there is material pressing against some part of that part of your ankle/foot then trim it there. I have a giant brocka on my climas because i am one of the people that really needs it.

Not everyone needs a brocka mod!

I started to take off the rubber fins and stripes. The fins came off no problem. The stripes are a different story. I tried slicing at the top like the fins but I guess I hit the mesh. I've tried a couple different angles but none are any good. Was there a different way to take off the stripes? Or should I just keep pressing forward and come back to this stripe later? And the stripe I'm having trouble with isn't the stitched stripe (just for clarification) Any help would be appreciated!

The big stripes were and are the hardest part to modding clima's.

Here's what I did for them.

I cut the top of the stripe like the little fins. And when I thought I got deep enough, I started a little cut at an angle. With that angled cut, you should be able to pull on it and separate it from the mesh some. The slowly pull and using whatever tool you used to cut, slowly cut the back of it away from the mesh.

Hope that helped.

It helped a little bit. I didn't make too much progress though. At this point I'm gunna play with the stripes still on until I have enough time to try again. Thanks Josh.

Other methods and suggestions are still welcome. Thanks!
