Hey tom,

On your climas did you have to push any stitches to open up the toe box flaps?? On mine I would have to pull some, but the problem is, I would have to pull up part of a whole long seam, and I don't want the rest of the seam to unravel. Did you have any problems with this?

Does leaving the fins on effect clippers? Also is the broka necessary? I am not liking the small toe area of lavers, and these look like they should help my toe play.

Nathan, no, no stitches need to be cut.

Shaun, leaving the fins on makes for a different playing area. they sorta bow out and make a convex area when what you want is concave, make sense?
I wouldn't call the broka necessary.. but I think it definately helps.

Try the lacing mod for fun.

If you've already taken that little thing off then you won't even have to change anything but your lacing to see what its like.

It made my toe zone confidence go up ten thousand percent.

You're so good Andrew Grant.

my current climas are velcro, which is both a blessing and a curse. blessing because the laces never come undone since there aren't any, but the toe is slightly smaller and the bag gets stuck to it from time to time. i'll surely give it a go on one of the 2 new pairs i have in storage.

hi tom...i have one question,i will recieve my climacools soon and i want to fill in those gaps too but i was wondering if the silicone keeps on the shoe if i shred in it!
cause i tried silicone on an other pair of shoes to see how it works compared to shoe goo,and it feel off after a few days of walking in them,i tried to fix some holes in my sole,so i dont know if i would have the same problem when filling the gap with silicone or should i use shoe goo instead?

My silicone is very resiliantly attatched to my shoe, and it stays that way because it can flex with the shoe.

However my shoe-goo gap filler came out all the time because it was stiff and snapped off the bending shoe.

Make sense?

Silicone is FAR easier to work with too!!!!

The area that you apply the silicone to has alot of nooks and crannies that the silicone can grab onto. But yes, according to physics if you rough it up by scratching or with sandpaper the silicone will probably adhere better to some degree, however my non-roughed up ones have not come apart.

allright finaly today my climas arrived,i gues its the 1 model,i´m happy with them but i discoverd something strange and i would apreciate some advise!

i want to take off the rubber fins on the side of my shoes, but there is this see-throug material under the fins, and the fins feel like they go through this maerial under them...is this normal?cause i dont make one cut untill i know it wont destroy the whole shoe when i cut off the fins...and do u (tom!?)cut of the fins on the outside too?and filled up the gap there?cause i would do it,since do alot of outside delay moves!

thanks
