i can't pull off the 3 thick strips for the life of me. Well guess I'll have to grind them down.

Brad, 2 things to remember when getting into the stripe yank mod.

1. Cut through at the thinnest spots at the highest and lowest points of the stripe.

2. It's not only how yard you yank, but your chosen yanking tool. Yank with the pointiest pliers you can find on the fattest part of the top or bottom of the stripe you can grip.

I fully stripe-yanked my shoes in under 20 minutes with my recent set of Clima 1s because I had a good, pointy pair of pliers and some fresh razor blades to make those precise cuts.

i'm just going to tell all clima 1 users to CHECK if their fins are sewed on. one of the fins on my clima euro's were and i didn't notice and pulled on it an ripped a HUGE hole in the mesh. make sure you check on that... will post photo later...

As I said in the tutorial - The frontmost fin is ALWAYS stitched on. you have to cut the stitches in order to not rip the mesh.

About that stitched on stripe, won't cutting the stitches make it so that inside fabric detaches from the mesh? wouldn't that make it so that the shoe could begin to rip there if you hit it with your foot when putting your shoe on?

Chema, no. the fabric is attached in another part, around the rim of the mesh, not just on the part with the stripe. it makes a little pocket that you might catch your toe on, but I've never done that.

Thanks, I should have been more patient. I decided to go along and pioneer it myself, and now all I'm left with a gaping hole in my mesh that I had to sew up.

Anyway, I did my brocka and started to stitch it up, but halfway through I broke my needle what should I do??

Unless of course you feel like re-forging your needle into a full needle again, restoring its full mana power!!

haha, actually I mean't like should I take out all the string and start over, or just tie a knot there and then start from there again or whatever. But I figured it out. I just cut the string, took the two ends and did a bunch of square knots over and over, than I got a new needle and started from there.

edit: spelling (I jsurt cantt stanrd sepling erors)

I already fineshed w/o re-starting, it worked ok, but thanks.

I would also like to add to the tutorial, that if you take off all the segments of the horizontal stripe when doing the stripe mod it helps the big stripes come off cleaner. I learned this the hard way

Exept, instead of leaving the mesh on under the stripes I took it all off! and it's soooo awesome, way better than with the mesh!

EDIT: oops, I already said that I got 'em oh shit!!!!
Well, now their done being modded; you see, me being retarded at modding shoes made it so that the piece where the broka mod gets close to the mesh, got broken, and now they're fixed!
