Hey Mossflower,

I'm of the opinion that if it goes up in the air when you kick it, it sits on your foot when you want it to, and it holds itself together, then it's a good bag. I have seen some awesome bags with some weird material combos, and I have seen some crappy bags made of all the same material (some even with really good stitching, but a bad fill).

Sweet bags guys!

Thanks Brian, I gather this one it a bit more. I also made bigger patterns than the other ones I have.

Here it comes my bag number 10, the summer bag, to celebrate that summer has come some days ago:

First try at a new 40p design I call `bizarro`, have since done with different colors on each side. Excited to see how this breaks in.

dammit johnny, you're way too good at this shit! one question though, did you machine stitch the split panels together? the seams look uber tight.

also, lovin the new 92s dude, i envy your patience with those!

I think the 92s are awesome, but that 40p is the BOMB!
Yeah I see what you're saying, will. They look machine stitch. It wouldn't be that hard. For their pattern, cut the pattern in half, and add a couple millimeters to each side. Then, sew along where the couple millimeters meets the actual piece. Then, you would half the double-piece.

Hey guys, im very new to this whole community, but i just started stitching yesterday and im about halfway through my first 32 panel (im learning from youtube videos). I do have some pictures but since it looks like i need a website to host them (and im not sure how i would go about making that happen), I cant really post them. If someone could help me out, it would be very much appreciated. All i want is some pro advice on my bags :) . Thanks [/img]

You can use photobucket, tinypic, or imageshack. I'm sure there are more such sites out there but I'm not sure of them.

i used to use imageshack, but lately i've been using flickr. if you have a yahoo account, you have a flickr account.

trent- i don't think that looks crappy at all. well done, sir.

marco- beautiful. just beautiful. i've got to get my hands on some of that red microsuede, i have something similar in brown but that red is just gorgeous.

Yeah, I think as a first, it will be okay. Firsts should mostly just be for getting the hang of the technique. Once you are done with that then you can improve.

I have some bags to post, I've had them for 15 days, but I'm just too lazy. I'll post in a bit.
I'm currently working on a soccer pattern for my cousin, and then I'm gonna make a 12/8 blur in red/white/blue (I saw one, and they look pretty sweet.) When I build up my fabric collection, I'm going to make bags for each country.

Finished the bag i posted up before. Looks aight for a first but its way way too stiff to be playable. Maybe when i make my template a bit bigger and get ultrasuede my next bag will be soft. :?:
