The new yellow has a really nice thickness, but the good side has a little strange texture to me, I believe it will be quite durable though...
I guess I should make a solid bag for myself and see how it performs/lasts.

Bags going on sale at the PSU Jam this weekend. Tri-Force 32 is excluded from sale, brought only for show.
edit: Sorry for the poor image quality. Hand was shaking and I was at a rush to leave! :v

Nice bag Waylon! I think I've worked it out.
Did you stitch together 8 lots of 4 hex's, then make it just like an 8panel??
It looks really good. Is it nice and round like a 32, or blocky like an 8?
Here are my latest creations.
I sent 2 bags to Larry (Xsisbest) a few weeks ago.
One of my 42's, and a custom 32.
And I've just finished my second bag made with the kevlar thread.
The stitches are tied really tight around my tensioning thimble, but the gather doesn't really show up that much as the thread is so much thicker than floss.
This bag feels pretty soft right away because of my choice of colours, but should require quite some breaking in (the threads shouldn't ever stretch)
3 stitch this time, and I also glued the knots and thread ends with shoe goo, so they should stay in place with any luck.

This bag is available for trade or sale for anyone who might want to test it out for me. pm me.

Correct. There are also adjacent bleedholes in the medium of each combination hexagon's long side, where the 4 hexagons that meet within that area are tied and locked into place.D. wrote:Nice bag Waylon! I think I've worked it out.

Also, it is quite round and much floppier than a standard 32-panel bag made with hexagons and pentagons. It is not "blocky" at all, unless you sew an 8-panel like you would a 32 or 14-panel (one hexagon as the center with surrounding hexagons).
On a final note, this version of the 32-panel is actually much faster (for me) to make than a typical 32-panel with pentagons and hexagons. Prep time to make the 8 combined hexagons is debatable.

Marco: Awesome sunshine bag, sending you a pm about it now.
Brian: Sick experimental zebra bag. Also love the bags a few posts above those!
Ok, I finally got a break from some homework and I figured I'd get bored at my security guard job today, so I banged out this baby:
FunBag #31
Some weird "rare" cow hyde material that Zach Hoffa gave me a while ago
Stitched it for Pipenberg

FunBag #32
Figured I would try something out of the ordinary since this is my 32nd bag I've stitched Turned out so baller.
Tricolor panel (Black w/ Sequins Pents & Purple/Red Hexes) Bicolor Spike (Purple/Red), Panels and Spikes both alternating color patterns.
Most annoying bag I've ever stitched
The design was inspired by a Bear Bag Anton Britting brought to PSU Jam last weekend. So, cheers for the inspiration, Brian!

2 new demo bags. The yellow and the orange are ultra suede soft. I feel like hybrids for demo bags could be pretty cool. White/orange goes to Estonia to the hands of my buddy kliopa the yellow one is still available

Brian, awesome bags man. Cute background
So last night, I finished bag #33. Madd stoked on it. Plays so well, surprisingly. I used Neon USS for the spikes and Black and Red USL for the panels. This is the coolest/best bag I've made so far. Very happy with it. Got stitch fever these days and the only solution is more stitching
This thing looks so cool when you kick with it!
