Good choice of starter footbags
Good choice of starter footbags
Obviously, I'm new to the sport.
What are some good starter footbags?
I bought one today at Sports Authority
I think it's a 32 panel.

Get Richard Abshire's 32 panel mini facile footbag.
I feel that this bag (even though this is a high level shred bag) offers itself to being a good bag to kick with and it will last. The facile tight stiched is ideal for learning control of stalls and sets. The hybrids are ideal for shred and are a bit more sticky to the foot . Abshire is a great sticher and nice guy.

Although getting a freestyle 32 when you're starting out is a very intriguing and gungho approach to getting into freestyle asap, you can't go wrong with the Mr. Sandbag. Get those basics down, and put adds on those shoes (hopefully the Rod Laver or anything else used in freestyle). Even if your progression is at a slow pace, you won't regret getting the appropriate equipment for footbag. What really matters in the end is having the proper discipline and volition in learning more and more about this sport.

"Footbag can be pretty frustrating when it's supposed to be fun. I was partly driven by this forum - practice, practice, practice... As that is true, I think someone can be too focused on progressing and training that they miss the fun aspect of it." - Bander87
