what about the "now only available in whole sizes" thing that was floated some time back?

if true, will all 1/2 size pre-orderers be e-mailed and asked their new size preference?

Update

Post by simplyqueen1 » 21 Jan 2010 12:46

We were notified 5 min ago by the broker that the production line is now being inspected by US Customs. Full clearance should occur by the end of today or early tomorrow. Please submit payment for shipping if you have not already done so to expedite delivery of your shoes. Thank you all for your patience and shared impatience lol

There were not enough 1/2 size pre-orders to justify the additional sizes for the first production line. Adding this without enough demand would have increased the price for everyone by 40%. We are going through all the orders to ensure appropriate changes are made. Prior to shipping, emails will be sent out to confirm whole size preferences along with address confirmations and outstanding fees if any.

For those concerned with shoe sizes: Manufacturers informed us that the difference between "EURO" whole sizes are minimal- only 6mm difference from one size to the next. For your convenience, I've added a link below so you can visualize what 6mm looks like.

Thank you for this question Lotus! This was almost overlooked.

Hi Sam,

What many players are doing is teaming up to split shipping for two shoes using same address. Shoe boxes are also sometimes eliminated to save on wasted space as fees are determined by dimensions of boxes sent. I will review your shipping address to see if there are other companies with better options. From what I've learned, international shipping is generally higher to include any tarriff fees. I will try see what I can do but if any of the above appeal to you, just let me know.

How about you guys bring the shoes to worlds and save the shipping expense to players who bought it and will attend?
That would be most appreciated.

Other Options for Shipping

Post by simplyqueen1 » 24 Jan 2010 15:31

People are possibly organizing a Nucleus-Pick Up Shred Session for Canadians in New York to minimize shipping costs. http://modified.in/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=21043. If so, just let me know and I will make arrangements to re-route packages for shipping.

i've been trying to find exact shoe size conversion charts on the web ... us9 = euro? ... but they seem to vary considerably.

i'm sure all 1/2 size orderers [or everyone for that matter] would appreciate it if the early/first receivers of these long and eagerly awaited booties could post what euro sizes they got and how they compare to whatever US sizes they would normally wear.

cheers,

Just got my pair today, Size 11 Black.

I normally wear a size 11 1/2 Lavers but the 11's are fine for me, for all of you 1/2 sizers out there.

from what i understand, euro sizes are a half size bigger. meaning a 10 would fit like a US 10.5
