A Few Questions About Lavers

Post by dotmpeg » 21 Apr 2012 21:26

1. Where is the cheapest place to buy them (online), other then eBay (I have seen them on WorldFootbag for $49.95)?

2. What is the best model to buy?

3. Where can I find a step-by-step guide to modifying them (I've searched Modified and have only found dead links)?

Yeah, I just got a pair from World Footbag, and they seem to be on sale. I don't follow those EBay links or anything -- I've never used EBay. But $50 isn't bad at all. If you're in the USA, there is a website that Mike Green(?) posted in the Equipment forum somewhere with some sweeet colours, at even cheaper prices! (Unfortunately they don't ship outside of the USA.) http://www.finishline.com/store/catalog ... prod689652 (With the cheapest at $35!)

For modding and lacing instructions, check out Footbag, org: http://www.footbag.org/faq/show/941276901

And as for model, the ones with made of mesh instead of leather are probably better, athough I know people mod the leather ones too.

This video is pretty good for modding lavers. I would also read the directions from previous post though.

I got a couple questions on Lavers as well.

Lavers are becoming harder to find. Where is a trusted site to buy from?

I run a size 10.5 in most brands but sometimes fit in an 11. What would be the best size to get for Lavers?
