Shorts and where to buy them

Post by Eskimo Joe » 25 Oct 2012 10:42

Good day Modified.

I have been looking for shorts to buy and am hoping that people would be able to list their favorite shorts and why they are the best for footbag. Also, if it is possible, would you please provide a link to where they can be purchased?

I have three pairs of shorts from Kolo, but two pairs that are of heavy cotton are near the end of their life and have become a little to "soft". They are much baggier than when I purchased them. The third pair I have was teh matcing shorts that came with the Kolo Sport numbered jerseys. These are still in decent condition, and I hope that they will remain that way.

I also have a pair of nubalance running shorts, a little too short for my liking, a pair of red adidas soccer shorts, that also are a little too short, and a few pairs of adidas heavy cotton shorts, that are too baggy at the bottom.

So please let me know what you wear and where to get them.

I wear the team shorts I've been given for playing in various touch football (touch rugby league) teams. They are good because they're made from very light synthetic material, and they're very short (to avoid getting touched).

I think my current pair they come from this website;

I've always liked the Umbro soccer shorts. They're light, a good length, and fit well. They also dry really quick in the sun. They're a bit pricey, but I always seem to be able to snag a pair from Value Village when I need a replacement. I think the only problem I would note with them that I've had is that they can stick a bit on the top of the thigh when doing high dexes where cotton shorts have more give (if that makes sense).

EDIT: Apparently there are different kinds. I mean these ones: http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/produ ... Id=3109774

I'd avoid whatever shorts Milan gets :p

I got two pairs of Nike Dri fit running shorts at a sale and I'm happy with them.

I think it's this.

Funny thing, I sweat a lot, so the "dri" wording lured me in. However, I'm pretty sure I'm less "dry" with these than with the rest of my shorts. They're more comfortable and less obtrusive to the bag so it's a fair trade.

Thanks guys! I am leaning towards the dri fits cause they look pretty nice.I really appreciate the help. It is such a pain in the ass living in the arctic becuase there are so few places to go and buy stuff, so I am left with online shopping. I still have to watch that clip Erik, I usually am on a network that does not allow youtube to play, so I will have to check it out at home.
