Thanks for the offer, but you're going to need to work your way up in the ranks before you can challenge hardcore players like Jeremy and myself.

Played thursday and saturday.. I forget what my best shred from thursday was, but saturday was pretty good.

Oooops. That makes sense...

Thanks Mathieu, I've hit pixie weaving butterfly but I don't think I ever hit diving.

I start classes tomorrow... last quarter of college. I've got the senioritis. Good thing I get to go on a sweet trip when I graduate. I've decided I'm just going to buy a 60-day greyhound bus pass and head towards home when I run out of money, stopping everywhere along the way.

Played net yesterday, the biggest hole in my game is returning serves...I have a few spikes that I feel fairly confident in now; Inside sweep, outside sweep, and the sole push. I hit a few of each, and a few REALLY satisfying ones.

Next shred will be wednesday with Gray, Dustin, and maybe Jeremy.

I fucking hate the California Highway Patrol.

I got a ticket today for riding my bike through a stop sign even though there's no intersection on the right which means there's no possible way for me to come into contact with traffic, because on the first day of school those cocksuckers drive around campus all day finding any excuse they can to give tickets to students who are struggling to afford their education and food, let alone shell out $100-200 for a bullshit traffic violation.

I hope officer Courtney contracts syphilis from being raped repeatedly by an angry mob of sexually frustrated samoans with inhumanly large wangs, and then is beaten half to death and left in a gutter soaked in his own piss, blood, and tears.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH

Oh and I've also decided this is Gray's fault...he's bad luck... I get a ticket whenever he comes to town!

hey buddy.

I've had good luck with appealing traffic tickets at my school. Hopefully, if you've got a clean enough record, you can get out of this bullshit one, especially if you explain the circumstances and promise (to some degree of sincerity ;) ) that you won't do it again. good luck.

California is the only place I ever heard of jaywalking tickets. They did the same thing outside my high school when I lived there- but it was a small enough offense if you ran they didnt call extra cops to help chase you

Santa Cruz must be a little different than philly. In philly, you can run any light you want on a bike, and stop signs don't matter for anyone. Thats sucks that you got a ticket though. I bet matts right though. If you take the time to appeal that, I am guessing that they will recognize you care, and probably throw away the fines

They might give me a decreased fine if I go into court, which i probably will. I'm not that angry anymore...

I'm in San Diego... which literally means, "The whale's vagina."

Had a session yesterday at Chrystal pier with Abshire, Orton, Crook, Miller, Morawski, Tony something, and Moxie. It was fun, I think the best combo I hit was ripwalk>pdx whirl>pdx drifter>pdx dlo. Some good pixie combos also. While I was there I showed Abshire one of my bags, which he gave a good review.

Then a beer pong tourney took place, and I got too hammered but didn't puke or pass out.

Today we woke up pretty early and headed over to Padres Stadium. For a while we kicked with kids and taught them stuff, then we were on the field just before the 5th inning. There were like 24,000 people there, and I think we might have been on TV. It was kind of awkward at first because we didn't know where we were supposed to be, but we didn't really have time to be nervous because we were only on the field for about 40 seconds. I wasn't nervous, but I was tired/sore and playing with a machine-made duncan bag; I dropped a lot.

Fun stuff though. Got a few hours to kill before the plane. More freestyle later this week probably, but I'm a little behind on stitching and my schoolwork.

Cool. Good shredding with you Mr. Swanson.

Played earlier with Em.

My knees felt like shit, so it was supposed to be a short light session.

Best combo: blur>dimwalk>ducking bfly>ducking pdx mirage
some pixie practice,

some good runs with spinning and ducking, good run w/dimwalk bsos, legbeater, tapdown... other stuff.

spinning ducking clipper
pixie ducking osis
12 contact duck/dive/weave/zulu string>more guiltless

As we were playing, a local highschooler was driving home (2 houses down from me,) and saw us shredding, so he came and kicked, then was motivated enough to grab his good shoes and shorts. We gave him info and sent him on his way.

:)

Taking a break until my legs feel better... hopefully.

Yeah! Saturday was a lot of fun. I'll take a look at the pics and see which ones I want big versions of. Thanks.

So... I played again today. I was listening to music stitching and got all amped about playing...anyways,

14 ducking clippers then 15 ducking clippers
a good guiltless run around 20
some pixie practice

didn't play long, didn't have any energy and I hadn't eaten enough. It was probably a mistake to play, but I don't regret it yet. We'll see how I feel tomorrow riding my bike to the bus station at 9 AM. :)

Yeah, so those last 2 sessions apparently destroyed my knees and I haven't been able to walk without pain for the last week. I'm feeling pretty down about it; I considered quitting seriously for the first time today I think.

Doctors are expensive, and so is physical therapy. I don't know what to do really, the plan right now is to see a doctor in a week if my pain isn't better. Then I'm thinking 6-8 weeks off of footbag at which point I'll evaluate my situation. Emily please take my shoes. :(

I still plan on going to worlds whether or not I'll be playing, but I probably won't be taking my trip. :(

Bah.

Doctor's appt. on the 21st. :(

Still stitching vigilantly for worlds... if I don't end up going on my trip, I should end up with about $2k after worlds for rent/other stuff...

I've decided I'm going to stay in Santa Cruz after I graduate instead of going home for a few reasons (Emily, friends, work/school connections.) And I'm going to take 2 years off instead of just one so that I can get more experience and really figure out what I want to do before i go back to school.

I want bionic joints.
