It's next weekend, Chris. Matt, I'm down for Funtastik if we can carpool from Fredonia. On a related note, I will be back in Fredonia this Saturday, so I look forward to a session soon (Sunday, Monday?).

Mike, props on those drills and whatnot. I actually had a session the same day and worked the same concepts! crazy.

So yeah, session Sunday, 2 pm sounds good to me. Thats also move in day for the freshman at RIT so Ben and Bobby might stop by for a lil.

Also, Jeff do you think you'll be able to make it to Syracuse tommorow? I could always give you a ride if necessary.

Peace

Hello all.
Is the library easy to locate once you're on campus? What time do you play until?

the length of time we play is determined by how many people show up and how long our legs last.

for a smaller session 4:30 or 5 is a normal stopping time, but if there are more people, we've been known to go to 6 and occasionally later.

3 hours is a pretty solid session though, i would expect we'll be done around 5

So for the State Fair tomorrow, where and what time are we meeting up? Doug's going to be giving me a ride. Pat, before you said something about 12 noon at your house, and then carpooling to the fair? The only thing, time wise, is that I have to be back home at 6, so we'll have to be on the road back to Rochester by 4, 4:30 at the very latest.

Yeah, I DID have camping plans, but i canceled them for Funtastik. I'm not sure if I'll be ready for a session on Saturday, what with unpacking and all, but it looks like I'm free tuesday after 1pm.

i'm going. we all should go.

how was the session yesterday? jeff and I had a great time! some fredonia hackers came by and joined us, and jeff hit his first butter > pdx mirage! and first pdx mirages both sides! i was playing pretty well. fogs were easy, blurry whirl > pdx torque, which is rare for me, came on first try both sides. i had a few strings I was glad about.

off to job corp with team erie!

sounds epic, tom. i'd love to go, but other vital things might take precedence. i won't know for another week.

Our side of the parallel universe sunday shred went pretty well too, Matt. Paul, Doug, and myself showed up. Mike was sore and needed rest. Everybody seemed to be on top of things. Doug was hitting assassin and crazy stuff midstring, along with bsos stepping moves. His turns with the bag are good every time, and he has the easiest looking quantum sets ever. He is improving outta control! Paul hit lots of drifter moves, along with neo gyro guay many times midstring. I did some stuff, i dont know what. Just strings, nothing outstanding, but felt good. We came up with "Flying Squirrel" (flying swirl), but I could not figure out the mechanics in my brain, so trying it was useless. Tom could hit it though.

Doug's gone to school now in Boston and will be playing with Pete Bowler and whomever else is out there. Looks like Mike, Paul, and me will be holding it down in Rochester, so recruiting is more urgent than ever before.

I imagined it as having a symple swirl approach, dexed and caught in midair, and then set before landing. Sounds like what you were saying.

Really sick trick!! props!

Ooooh that's what it was. Doug and I were discussing what a flying swirl could possibly look like and I was saying that it would probably be what Chris said. Symplified > swirl dex > catch and throw before landing. That's awesome, though. So uh. Flying ripstein?
