Kicked with Bob and Jackson tonight. Tried to keep it simple most of the night because me legs are hurting. Had a really good tiltless string early on but wasn't counting. Felt like 10+. Bob helped me with my flip Osis and my drifters. I'm very close to drifter now hopefully next session I spend time on it.

 Ripwalk Only strong side. I had a close one on flip but then I started pulling my set foot in on stepping and couldn't stop it.
 Dada Curve BSOS. Almost had it b2b but had to throw in a ss clipper to gain a bit more control.
 Ended on Pixie Pickup BS.

Solo session today. Trying to keep it pretty light to let my legs recover. I've figured out the problem, been landing on my heels when I start to lose control. Practicing the basics while focusing on keeping on my toes. I have also been working on Jordans top 10 drills. Worked on weak side fairy abit. It's amazing how much working on weak side improves my strong side. Strong fairies almost perfect now.

 Fairy SS Pickup first try, Fairy Pickup
 Fairy SS Legover

I footed alpine fear a few times hopefully soon. Still trying to keep it light so only tried about 10 times.

Sick! That shit is raw man. You're really taking to this Fairy stuff. It's awesome to see. Sounds like it's easier than Pixie for you.

Fairy ss Pickup = Nallegam (Pixie ss Legover is "Magellan", which is "Nallegam" backwards, cool, right?!)

And Alpine Fear has got one of the sickest names in footbag, in my opinion... It's called "Guillotine". That's a gnasty trick man. But like you said you're gonna do... stick to your basics and you'll be so much better off.

2 weeks til we kick again!

yo .....

start here

quality over quantity ...

also look at drill 11-20..... Using your hips to open and close off of the bag will help and make HUGE leaps in your ability to easily do butterfly>p mirage and drills like that......just focusing on the tips that Moir gives in 1-10 drills will be a big help....I promise...

Also....thanks again for the killer bags

Yeah man, you hit that Blur first try. Real sick. I was actually about to not give you props, because from how it looked, I thought that you hit those all the time... Then I realized that I never saw you hit one before lol Madd props on that one. Your shit is getting crazy good dude. You just need to take some time off because of the shin problems. ...Maybe once we kick a few more times :P We need to shred with Nick P now. We need to stitch soon too!!!

Dude, I'm scared to see how good you're gonna be next during Christmas break, when I come home again. Rest up tomorrow and ice the legs a shit load and hopefully you'll be good to go on Friday.

Happy Thanksgiving man. See ya soon.

Had a session with Nick and Nick last night. Had some good long strings.

 Osis x 6
 Illusion > Fairy Butter

Just got back from a good session with Bob and Nicks. Some more good stringing. My legs are really bad right now so its pretty hard to play. Going to take a couple weeks off to let my legs fully heal.

So I went to a leg specialist a couple weeks ago and he had me get a bone scan. Just got the results from the scan. Both legs have stress fractures. I have to wear a boot thing on each leg for 3-4 weeks each. So no footbag for me for at least 6 weeks. The doctor also said he would have me do some physical therapy to strengthen my legs once they healed to help prevent this from happening again.

Wow, bummer. Were you just going too hard, or did you do something else to cause this?

I pretty much sat on my ass playing video games for the last 4 years than started playing footbag really hard. I guess my legs just wernt strong enough to handle such a drastic change. The doc says they will be stronger than before once they heal so hopefully it won't come back if I'm more careful this time.
