Blubberman drill has been one-up'ed today :D

Blur > Toe Blur > Plasma (rpt)

It's also on camera so maybe you'll see it on next vid made by Rozo. Nothing else really to report, I'm going to study some History and then play Tekken with my friends :)

I passed all my final exams, and I think I did pretty well, so today's session with Olaf was really sweet. My mind was finally free of all this school stuff. I tried to shred genuine again, and had some good runs, one had something like ~25 contacts and had Stepping Whirl > Stepping ss Eggbeater and ended with Blurriest > PS Eggbeater. One run started with with Blubberman with the last Tripwalk changed to Plasma felt nice too.

Worked on shuffle, my flip Stepping worked ok I guess. Also did some fun Symp. links, like Pixie Symp. Mirage > Pixie Flail > Pixie Symp. Whirl. It felt good to be playing relaxed, because everything was easier.

The surface we played on was artificial grass, and because there was a lot of sand on it, one could easily slip. After trying some Stepping Spinning sets, and nailing Stepping Spinning Mirage I tried to hit Stepping Mobius (Timberwulff?) and had a nice looking drop to the ground. Thankfully I survived :)

Now I'm going to my friend's house, and we're going to have a grill (bbq? :) )

Lon Smith once said that the best place you can shred is on a golf green. I want to try that one day.

The photo up there ^^ is really sweet. It totally shows how rocking your style is.

BBQs with your friends is awesome.
EDIT: Forgot about one highlight, which is flip Arch Nemesis! Smile

Big thanks for your comments guys! Yeah Euros are going to be epic, no doubt about it. We will try to break the record number of players from one country  I want to see your Double Downs, and Swirls Daryl :) And Asmus, if I ever go play Golf I'll sneak my Lavers and a bag with me haha.

We had a session yesterday, and I've hit one unusual trick - Symp. Quantum Drifter. It took a couple tries, but the landed one was solid. Other then that I schooled some weaker components and stuff. Came close to flip PS Eggbeater.

Oh, one suprising thing - there's a new shredita in our crew! Her name is Agata, and she came to try out footbag after Budzik did a demo in her school. She was learning the basics, toe stalls and stuff. She seems to be motivated, so maybe the process of learning through failure won't make her stop.

We're having another session today at South Park, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to show up.

Toe Frontside Flurry would be really hard. Possible I guess, but only for inhuman beeings like Jorden Moir  I was outside Wrocław for 3 days, because I visited my friend in his summer's house. It was fun.

BUT, before that I was in Strzelin and had a hell of a session. The highlights:

Blurry Whirl > Blur > Plasma (rpt)
Whirling ss Drifter BS
Quantum Grifter

Montage Swirl :D

It felt great to be playing well, especially in front of Strzelin's club. They have a lot of players now, so I expect them to become a serious force this summer.

We're going to do some demos next month, so I'll probably be pretty footbag busy. I'm still practicing breakdancing from time to time, and I'm slowly getting better (but it's definitely way more tiring then footbag :) ). I plan to visit some other Polish footbag crews, for example the Katowice area or Góra. The Polish Championships are also getting closer. Tommorow we're having a session, so maybe I'll hit something interesting :)

Thanks for the posts! I wonder if I invented Montage Swirl. Probably Vasek hit it 3 years ago :) We had 2 sessions since my last post, they were ok even though I didn't play so well. On the last one there were 8 people, which was really cool. I don't remember so many people on a session since we played at Kozanów gym about 2/3 years ago. Today I went to see Almodovar movie called "Matador". I thought it would be good, but it turned out mediocre, maybe it has something to do with the fact that it was made in 1983 or something :)

Life is pretty busy, even though I don't go to school anymore (not that I'm complaining  ). Tommorow we're doing a demo in some school, on Sunday I'm visiting Góra with Rożo. It should be a good session. Then we're doing some more demos, and we plan to shoot a big footbag movie.

My house is undergoing some major repairs, painting and stuff, and I'm the main work force :) Today I was mostly painting, but I run out of paint. I'll finish it tommorow after the demo. It's good that we're finally going to make the house look as good as it can. I liked the photo stuff that Erik, Andrew and David did. I'd love to do this myself, but I don't have a digital camera.

http://www.songstowearpantsto.com has some fun songs :)

The demos went good, so many little kids :) My group were like 6 year olds or something. We showed them freestyle, and they seemed a little interested, but when we gave them bags all hell broke loose :D One thing struck me - those kids could have so much fun with the smallest things. For example one of them was just throwing the bag up and trying to catch it. After succeeding it was the happiest beeing on the planet :) It's similar with footbag I guess. In the beggining hitting even the easiest tricks gives you an awesome rush and lots of joy. But with time everything fades, and even harder stuff doesn't quite make you feel like that.

The solution? I think there is none, as this state is completely normal. It's all about keeping at what you do, and eventually the phase of fun will return, probably in a different form. And after that - rpt :) Like seasons.

After the demos we had a short session (me, Radek and Wojtas). It was good, I experimented with some new links, like Atomic and Quantum after DLOs, and Spinning out of different tricks. Radek schooled PS Whirls and Wojtas did some cool tripless combos (he thought up earlier  )

I wanted to do some painting now, but it's raining. So it looks like I'll have more work tommorow. I hope to finish it then. There's a "freestyle night" somewhere, with breakdancing, beatbox, some footbag maybe by Budzik and other free sports. My friend wants me to go, but I'm not sure if I'll do it. We'll see tommorow.
