You're making huge progress, Nick!

How long are you in Pville over winterbreak? We definitely need to get together, it's been forever since I've seen Bob too

Ken: Yeah, I would love to make a trip out to NYC to kick with all yins. I know Mark's ADD Hunt is 5555 (I actually submitted mine already. First time hitting 4 Fearless!) Cool story about the gyro clippers. Hope the same happens for me. Leaning = Stepping Inspinning, no idea what stepping spinning is, but I'll try it. Over X-Mas Break I am planning on doing loads of drilling, specifically Inspins and some other junk. So hopefully I'll dial Inspins by the time X-Mas break is over.

Drew: Thanks man. That really means a lot to me. I would love to kick with you again over break. I'm off next Monday through I have no idea when lol. But I'm sure we will be able to kick a lot. I'll definitely get in touch with you.

So, Blog.. You haven't heard from me a whole lot lately, have you? No. Not really. It's cuz I hate you.... JK! I could never hate you, footblog! I had you for a second, though, huh? I'm sorry to scare you like that. I promise I won't ever do it again. I love you, baby. Oooh yeah baby. You like that? You like that, footblog? Who's a dirty blog? Now, get down on all fours and...

Oh! Hello there, reader! So yeah, I haven't been shredding too much, just trying to get into Mark Monistere's ADD Hunt... Which I DID!!!!! My first 4 Fearless... Ahhh, such a relief... Finally... Four 5 ADDs in a row. It feels so good to hit that milestone.

I actually ended up hitting that same link 4 times... All 4 of them on camera... The first time it was totally clean, sealed, but the footage LAGGED!!!! So that was unusable... 2nd time, all links were clean, but I was unable to manage a seal. 3rd time, sealed, but one of the tricks (my unusual surface trick) was not on the unusual surface fully :\ Mark called ma about it and told me it was unclean and I needed to film again... 4th time, I pretty much had the first 2 5's dialed... and I nailed it. Clean, on camera, submitted. I'm really excited about getting into this competition, even if I don't win (which I won't lol) since this is the first big boy comp I've entered that excludes a lot of players. I'm really happy about it.

Just for kicks, here is my footage of my very first 5-5-5-5 :P

You can't tell what any of the tricks are... Na-na Na-na boo-boo. Stick your head in doo doo.

Highlights over the past week or so:

 As I've mentioned.. First 4 Unique Fearless! With 1 [Uns]
 Frankenstein got way easier. I hit a bunch of those recently.
 Entered a link in Pipenberg's Sick 3 competition... Everyone should enter something! Must be no more than 6 ADDs total! You can win a FREE bag from Nathan. His bags are the shit!

On and to end this post, I'd like to quote this text message that Mark Monistere sent me this morning... I thought it was fucking hilarious.

"Dear Nick,

Why have you ignored us? Is it because we weren't whore and as easy as our friends? Don't you like a challenge? You could learn so much from us... The truth is, you'll NEVER be all the Polini you could be without us... We will be here no matter what... If you ignore us like an STD, we will bother you like warts on your dick.. but if you accept us as being different and take the time to get to know us, we can be great friends and learn lots from each other and see butterflies and dragons in the park. From your flipside Fairy and flipside Pixie sets..."

I was so confused by that at first... then I got to the bottom and saw who it was from :P I laughed so hard at that.

I just wanna thank Mark again for keeping in contact with me, pushing me to hit that 5-5-5-5 (because I was originally just going to let it go and not enter anything, then Mark encouraged me to try), and for just being a good friend. Can't wait to see you again dude.

Totally had this phrase stuck in my head while riding to school today.

Also, I think I know what ur 5555 was but I dont wanna guess and get it right and spoil it for the comp video release or guess and get it wrong and look foolish.... so I'm not gonna say. :P Nice sick3 though. I totally plan to enter something once finals are over.

Thanks a lot, Doug! You just played a big part in my session

Kicked with Nathan tonight. Pretty good session once the bag got warm. Nathan hit Swirling Monster! Then we tried to learn Catwalk/Eclipse but that was a major fail :P This is gonna be a quick post since I need to study for finals...

Highlights:

 Toe Far Blink BS! This has been a dream trick of mine ever since I saw Doug Tank and Jay doing them, but what really started it is when Jeremy Mellor texted me today, "You should learn far reverse swirl toe, it looks awesome." Thanks for the suggestion Jeremy... Just didn't think it would get hit on bs :P Really happy about that.
 Toe near Blink BS
 Gyro Blink! Pretty dope.
 Dustpan> Far Reverse Swirl
 Ended with 26 contact Guiltless... Not great, but not bad.

Can't wait for stupid finals to be over and done with..

Oh! Something sick happened while we were playing, I got a text from my girlfriend saying, "You'll never guess what I'm doing... I've been studying a lot today and I needed a break, so I decided to practice footbag!" So wicked. She wants me to be her personal trainer

Fuck yeah, Life... You're the man.

Studying for finals all day can FUCK YOU UP!

So, just play some footbag and stop hating everything so much for an hour or so :D

Highlights:

 Ripped Warrior> Ripped Warrior (Hit the link twice tonight. First time was actually first try, so I realized I needed to film it finally)
 Trying to hit Ripped> Ripped starting on my other side, but I fucked up and bailed to Stepping Ducking Osis... Still cool though.
 Tripwalk bs! First time on flipside! I was so surprised when I was all of the sudden able to do a pretty good Quantum set on both sides. This one's for Hogan and Jeremy.
 Ducking Zipper bs (New on both)
 Spinning Rake bs (New on flip)
 Catwalk bs & BSOS!!! I've been trying for this one for a very long time, but it just clicked in my head tonight. Will be drilling these soon. I <3 Catwalks
 Kind of interesting... I was goofing around and I hit, what I think is, Reverse Catwalk? Make any sense? Like rather than Symposium Hopover, it's Symposium Reverse Hopover? Feels neat. It reminds me of Swirling Monster a little, which I tried to no avail.

Going home to shred with my OG Crew soon! Really excited.

I'd like to share a little footbag-related story...

Today was George's birthday. George reminds me of myself as a newer player. "I really like the weird tricks"- George. I love teaching this kid. He's super enthusiastic and a great student. Today was beyond great though...

So he texts me in class and asks me if *describes a Magellan* is a trick... I tell him yes and ask if he's hit it yet.. He says "I'm about to". I tell him, "If you hit it, text me and I will come over your house and give you props for it in person once I get out of class. Sure enough, 3 minutes later... George's text: "KABOOOMM" I call him up and ask him where his house is... I arrive at his house and ask to see it. He shows me 3rd or 4th try. TIGHT. It was weird though, it wasn't an uptime pixie... it was more of an 1/2 atw-ss legover. I gave him props then. Later, I got him to hit Heel delay and Flapper and some other weird ones. Then I told him he should try Reverse Swirl. He goes for it and kinda comes close. I tell him to point his toe inward so he has a bigger window. He did that and it improved so much. Within the next could tries, he NAILS it, catches the bag and FREAKS OUT! I was freaking out too :P I got goosebumps during this. I didn't know exactly why at first, then it hit me... I saw myself in George. When I hit my first Reverse Swirl, I reacted the very same way. I got chills. We were both so stoked. He thanked me for coming over and coaching him and said that that was a great present. It might be my favorite present I've ever given someone. I just felt such accomplishment and joy when I left George's place. I just successfully passed on a piece of what makes me so happy, and that felt AMAZING. Sharing a milestone moment in footbag that you already experienced with someone who is just as enthusiastic as you is one of the best feelings I've had in a long time.

TL;DR

I taught this kid Reverse Swirl and when he hit it we both screamed like little girls and I was touched by the moment.

Every time I picture reverse eclipse I also picture myself getting tripped up and banging myself in the back of my head. I have hit it a few times though...

Good luck with reverse cat walk.

Ian: MORE BLOOD, MORE FUN!!!! I'd love some help with Catwalk next time we play. You've got a really solid-looking one. You are most of my inspiration for Eclipse in the first place. Hope to shred after break. Miss you man. Hope you and Mrs. Ladyfriend are doing well.

Erik: Thanks for the awesome words! Very encouraging. I smiled pretty wide when I read that :) Stuff like that really puts a fire under my ass. You're awesome man.

So I played with Nathan, STEFAN, Ivan, and Ryan last night! Stefan hasn't been able to kick for a while, but he's still got it. He said, "Give me 3 tricks to start a run with" I said "Mirage> Legover> Butterfly"... First try on strong side, then he hits it flip later. Kid's got it. Ivan killed. Lots of long tiltless stuff. Ryan finally figured out Legovers! He actually also hit Legover> Mirage! That's brand new to him. We went crazy when he hit it :) Nathan had one of the most stylish runs I've ever seen from him. It included everything he normally never does... I can't remember any of it except a cool ass DATW link :P It was sick, take my word for it.

Highlights:

 Nothing too notable during the session. I had madd control with a few pretty dense strings. Felt great. Also started a run with Stepping Weaving ss Clipper. That felt really cool.
 Vortex BSOS
 Pdx Eggbeater BS (2nd time on each side)
 After they left, I drilled some junk...
 Proud of this.. 7 contacts of Gyro Clipper> Reverse Swirl rpt (Apparently, I have never spun out of Flip Rev Swirl... Because that shit was HARD.)
 Spinning Clipper> Reverse Swirl rpt bs
 Maverick> DLO BS (Apparently, I have never hit Osis> DLO before *shrug* Will start using it more often.)
 Spinning Clipper> Blender rpt

Tomorrow is my last final. Then I go home for 4 weeks :) Lots of footbag with Bob, Jeremy, Jackson, Nick P, Drew, Ivan, Ryan, Luke, and more.. oh joy! I always forget how poppin' the scene back home is on breaks :D

Corey, man, one of the coolest compliments I've gotten about my game. THANK YOU DUDE. I'm glad my form work is finally paying off.

So I finished up my semester the other day, suckasssss! That looks like "Suck Ass", I assure you it's like the lolipop candy item, but said cooler by eliminating the "r". I got an A in one class and B+'s in all of my others! Pretty hyped on it.

FOOTBAG CITY, YO!

Been shredding/drilling non-stop since I got home.

Kicked the other day with Jeremy and Jackson. Jackson was on the verge of quitting recently, which actually really got me down in the dumps. But then Bob called him up and told him to come over and shred. Jackson told him he was gonna quit... Bob called him an asshole... Jackson went over Bob's barn and drilled all his basics with him. Jackson's really developing some tight form and basic fundamentals. Next competition, he's gonna be at at scary level for an intermediate player. Bob and I both think he's gonna sky rocket. Jeremy is disgusting. He um... was clearing FUSING (FAIRY ATOMIC) SETS and easily clearing Sailing. He just needs to school his basic 1 ADDs and 2 ADDs now and he's going to reach a ridiculous level too.

Highlights:

 Got some more Osis> DLO's bs & BSOS
 Jeremy and I drilled after the session. Jackson had to leave. We drilled Tapping Toes :P Atomic same toe, that is. We thought that sounded funny. "Yeah man, we got so good at toe taps during that session." :P I also drilled Symp Swirls.
 Jeremy watched me do a Pixie set... He told me they looked weird... Always fun to hear from your student haha But he was right... SO inefficient. He showed me the proper way to do them and my dimwalks and smears and plo's improved almost immediately! Madd stoked on that! Just need to drill them more.
 Drilled some Catwalks bs... Catwalk> Ripwalk

Yesterday was Nick P's birthday and we shredded all day pretty much lol. He's gonna be a gnarly illusion player. I can see it already. Hitting flawless Blizzards, BS Blizzards, Eggbeaters, Bubbabeaters, Paradons.... Awesome.

Highlights:

 Ripped Warrior> Blur> Drifter... That was awesome.
 Decent run with atomics, and ended on Alpine Legbeater but missed the clipper! Muh.

That night, we kicked with Bob.

Highlights:

 Vortex> Ducking Osis (Couldn't hit it flip! So pissed. Need to drill flip Vortex)
 Flip Stepping Weaving Clipper (First on flip, strong was just a few days ago)

Later that night, John Goode messaged me on Facebook and we chatted a bit then he I asked him if he could give me advice on Flip Symp Swirls. He gave me some great advice...

 Flip Symp Swirl> Hand catch... 3 in a row! Thanks again Johnny!

Tonight I played with Bob and Nick at Bob's barn. Tonight was strictly a drill night. I'm really happy about one thing with Bob. I helped him fix his Atomics! They're so good now! Nick was drilling some good stuff. Frozen Clipper> Ripwalk rpt, Ripwalk x4, and some other really good stuff with frozen clippers. I had some good drills and breakthroughs in this session.

Highlights:

 Reverse Swirl> Infinity rpt (around 10 contacts!)
 Reverse Swirl> Ripwalk rpt
 Reverse Swirl> Ducking Clipper> Spinning Clipper rpt
 Reverse Swirl> Whirl> Ripwalk rpt
 Paradon BSOS x3 (-ish? Didn't count)
 DOD bs
 Paradon Swirl! Finally :P
 Super happy with this one: Atomsmasher> Atomsmasher> Butterfly> Blur> Legbeater> Butterfly> Blur> Atomsmasher> Atomic drop I WILL hit Rubberman soon. I feel it. Just need to work my atomics a little more.

I made a list of tricks that I will OWN by the time I go back to school in 3 weeks. Jay Boychuk Norris messaged me on facebook the other day and gave me some really good tips and a VERY motivating talk. I realized that I must fix my form on EVERYTHING and make everything more efficient. That was definitely the most motivating footbag conversation I've had. Jay, if you're reading this, I want to thank you for that chat. You may not realize how hard you pushed... well... SHOVED me, but your words in that conversation were so encouraging. I will always remember that talk we had. I've noticed trends in different events that make me improve.

Like, around this time last year, I was still tiltless. What changed that is a very inspiring trip to New Year's Jam. I competed in Open  First time in Open and I was still tiltless. Jesus, I must have been insane. After playing and sucking at footbag in a circle with Sebastien D, Matt K, and Dante D, I realized that I was tired of sucking at footbag. So I drilled my ass off after that and I finally went Guiltless. Now that I think about it, I can recall all of the main milestone conversations or events I've had in my days of footbag.

Chronological List of Events that Severely Inspired Me:

1) First Funtastiks, Matt Cross taught me Swirl then told me that if I went home, drilled a lot, and came back next year, I would school the intermediate category. I did that, went tiltless on a lot of tricks on both sides and I came in first the next year :)
2) NYJ... Being in that Open circle with Seb, Dante, and Matt. Learning Gyro from Brian Bear, and Stepping Ducking from Evan.
3) Bob "daring" me to hit all the 1 ADDs and all the 2 ADDs x100 bs
4) Conversation with Jay. (I have a strong feeling that this is the one to push me to that next higher level that I want so badly to achieve)

I'm really excited to see where that conversation with Jay will take me.

Oh and, This was pretty cool. You probably saw it already, but pretty excited that I'm in a higher level footbag video now with a cool link... Just wish I executed it like the first time I hit it in the laggy footage :\ I was really stoked on Corey's link, Brian's link, and Rafal's link. I honestly think Rafal should have won, even though he had less ADDs than Air. Air's was ridiculous, but he lacked creativity. I liked Rafal's more because those tricks are much less common. The dex comp was too scary and made me barf. Great job on this competition again, Mark.

Tomorrow, I will drill Symp Swirls until I go stupid.

Ok, So I'd like to start this one off by saying that since I've spent so much time on Reverse Swirls, I actually have them pretty freaking dialed now. Really happy about it. It feels good to bsos that trick as many times as I please in a run. Pretty glad I have those to fall back on now. I used to have it dialed on strong, and been able to save a run with it on flip only every now and then... Now I think my flip will save my ass a lot.

I drilled with Nick P tonight and then played a little bit with Jackson later:

 Nick and I pretty much took my master list of 3 ADDs and hit a bunch on each side. Later, I will do a solo session of something Mark suggested to me. I really liked that idea, Mark, but it was hard to do with 2 people. In the process of tonight's drills, I fixed some things that needed fixing... I also hit some stuff I am very pleased with.
 Like I said, Reverse Swirls are mine now. Nice.
 Whirl x7ish on both sides. I can't remember how many I did on each because I didn't count, but it's certainly more than 3 which was my last record :P
 Toe Whirl bsos x a lot :P
 I actually finally fixed my Fairy sets! They do need a bit of work to lock in that muscle memory, but hell yeah! My Fairy felt and looked like the ones Anz hits (Ok, maybe not as perfect as his, but it's dexed as deeply as he dexes his.) Fear BSOS... Hey Tony, looks like I'll be taking back the reigns pretty soon :P Wanna mess with them more later on when my legs heal.
 Pixies are getting there slowly but surely
 What I'm really stoked on is this:
Reverse Career-Ender BS & BSOS!!!!
Career-Ender BS & BSOS!!!!

Once you get over the fear of purposely stomping on your ankles, it's not so bad! :D

 Some flip Paradons... They feel way better.
 Hit a barefoot Flurry after the session. Have yet to hit that with shoes :\

Later, I kicked with Jackson and his hacker friends.. We just circle kicked but Jackson and I freestyled a little. Jackson had some really dope stuff. One run I remember was Dimwalk> Near Mirage> Smear> tiltless string with some atws and mirages. Thats a great run for Jax. Holy shit! His drills have totally started paying off! He even said something like that when he dropped... "Holy Shit! My drills have totally started to pay off!" :P Anyway... Overjoyed to see him back into it :)

Highlights:

 Rev-Up Bsos! I lost that for a while. I was saucing it at the beginning of the year, but the flip was a little slow and funky... This was the snappiest sauce of Rev-Up I've ever hit. Midrun trick for sure.

No footbag tomorrow! I hurt :P Plus, my girlfriend is coming to visit all day. Looking forward to seeing her again.

I gotta poop now.

Yo, thanks Tony :) Hope you can start kicking again soon...

My girlfriend slept over last night, which was nice. Then she left this morning and.. I gotta stop doing this.. I played footbag ALL DAY :\ ALL FUCKING DAY... MADD HOURS up in the attic. Jackson played with me for a bit. His drills are kicking ass right now... He hit Magellan and Ducking Pickup bs.. I drilled after Jackson left.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention.. Had my first skype session with Hogan the other day... Well, I just watched him hit cool stuff while I sat there, since my shred spot was unavailable at that time :\

Highlights:

 Tootsie roll> Flapper> Reverse Swirl BSOS
 Flapper> Blender BSOS
 Stepping ss Clipper x10'ish bs
 Legbeater> Blur BSOS
 Dense atomic run
 Practiced Swirls without putting any spin on the bag
 Phasing Reverse Swirl
 Flapper> Reverse Swirl> Osis rpt good deal of contacts
 Ripped Warrior> DLO
 Hit something inspired by Monistere, but I'm not sure if it was clean, so I'm not mentioning jack shit :D He gave me tips on it now, and it makes a lot of sense, so I'll try it next time.
 Some pretty dope guiltless runs, with a lot of control
 Bob told me to start doing "quiet ripwalks" so I did a lot of those... I think I hit quiet Ripwalk x12'ish?
 Spent some time on Merkon> Butterfly rpt got a good handful of contacts on that...

Now I gotta go to this stupid family thing! I hate stupid family things! It's not even my family! I want a hot booty

Yeah, Tony.. Less stompy and lighter plants.. they feel nicer too.

So today into tonight... I played footbag again... ALL DAY. Fuck. haha I think I kinda know how that crackhead on the corner feels. FOOTBAG IS MY CRACK.

Anyway, kicked with Nick P and Kevin Hogan! Well Nick was with me and Kevin was on Skype. We had a really fun session. Nice to shred with Hogan again. Everyone had some madd decent stuff. Nick hit his first 3 Nuke Tricks, Matador, Sumo, and Pdx Tap. Kevin was hitting some dope blazing tricks, and Alpine Lonnie Beater haha Oh and he hit some ridiculous Outside Quantum and Outside Frantic stuff. Nuts

Highlights:

 Spike Hammer, Stepping Ducking Osis & Ripped Warrior in a run
 Started a decent run with Alpine Legbeater
 Kevin's challenge... Symposium Whizz> Hopover Swirl
 Symposium Whirling Swirling Dragon
 Omelet BS (New on both)
 Cleared some Flapper Nuke sets
 And here's the best part of the night... Ducked my Nuclear sets on BOTH SIDES!!! Kevin can vouch for me, he saw me duck both multiple times... I also saw him duck it multiple times. He hit Nuke Diving Clipper out of his. Pretty sick. I'm going to be analyzing Nukes and Nuke Ducking in the next few days. I need to figure that out.

So last night settles it, my footbag friends are way cooler that my non-footbag friends. Long story short... I hung out with my friends last night for a while and at first I sat and had a beer with my one friend in a slightly awkward silence. He offered me bong hits, but I didn't really feel up to it. He smoked a few bong bowls by himself... Then our other friends came over.. Then they guilt tripped me into going to a bar with them. I went. They drank a lot. Then when it was time to leave, I told my friend who was driving, (Let's call him "Micky Magic-Meats) tried to get in his car and drive. I wanted to give him a ride but he refused it several times, then he just got into his car. There was nothing I could do and I did feel absolutely helpless. It sucked. So yeah, my friends back home kinda suck... I would have much rather played footbag instead of deal with that bullshit.

I love how footbag gives me a place to go when I'm sad, pissed off, don't wanna deal with a situation, in need of meditation, or if I'm in any sort of weird or bad mood. God, I'm so glad I got into this sport.

I feel you on that last sentence SO much, esp while being home.

When I'm home, I feel like I go back and forth between being bored with nothing to do, feeling guilty/like a stain on society for doing nothing productive, subsequently thinking about the depressing reality of society at large and then having epic sessions of footbag with you in which I'm totally enthralled about life in a zen-like trance.

I no doubt kick more when I'm home (in terms of frequency) than back in OH and I have thank for that, Nick. Thanks for giving me a shred partner on-demand whenever we're both in town and for continually pushing/encouraging me in the sport :P

Yo Nick, It's always a blast to kick with you, especially when you're giving me chills like when you hit Pdx Tap after a few tries, then Matador after a few more tries, then footing Sumo on the next try, footing it again on the next and Hitting it so fucking clean to a crisp ass "fuck yeah" hand-catch... Then figuring out that you're going to be good at Furious sets after that haha It's nice having you right down the road and I'm really glad we both got into footbag. Also thinking back a while ago, I thought we were going to have pretty similar shred styles, which I was stoked for, since we're both "Nick P from Mont Clare, PA who plays footbag, went Oaks Elementary School and was in Boyscouts troop 007" lol But I think it's so much sicker now that you are really starting to carve out your own sick style with a lot of dope ass illusion tricks. I can't wait until we're both really good and in the same circle at a big tournament... Two Nick P's tearing it up with their own totally different styles. You're starting to get a cool thing about your style where, when you're really good and people are watching videos with you in it, they will be able to tell who you are just from your style. Sorry for blabbing so much lol I'm really happy you stuck with footbag, though. You are the only one of my childhood friends who actually got into the sport, and that makes me so happy. And seriously, fuck most of our old friends who dropped out of college and who drive drunk and who just aren't doing anything with their lives. Today's session helped me get a lot of that off my mind... BTW, Bob's having a session tomorrow at 7. You should come with me. Ok, again, sorry for rambling... now, go try Janiwalker until you hit it lol I wanna see you nail that so bad.

Damn, so I've been thinking about footbag all day after tonight's session. Still can't believe I ducked both Nukes. I remember a while ago, when Zach and I hung out constantly, I was walking somewhere with him, talking about footbag and Nuke Ducking came up as a topic... We discussed this topic and how we might go about it, then all of the sudden, Zach says, "Wait, why are we even talking about Nuke Ducking? Neither of us are ever going to hit that." You were wrong, Zach :)

I watched Pawel's video of Alpine Matador and Jay hitting Alpine Matador at the end of the Vegas Dawn of the Shred video... I'm putting it together slowly... I think I can get Alpine Matador bs soon. I also watched old Flipsider videos for old times sake... All of the sudden I found myself watching Eliot Piltz doing Drifters... So flawless... So perfect... Then I remembered Nick told me I should check out the Clavens Drifter tutorial, so I watched that, and now Drifters make so much more sense to me.... "Sweep" That was the key word for me. I tried some solo and hit them and actually felt like Dave. It was good. Couldn't do many b2b due to being tired and legs feeling like jello. But I've been ghosting them for a while and I'm going to continue that. I think I can engrave the muscle memory in my head by just ghosting them a lot. I will work on them soon.

One highlight:

 Clippered a piece of garlic bread while I balanced on my leg and ate a whole bowl of cereal in my kitchen earlier. That was cool.

OUT.

Session with Bobby tonight. We shredded to CHRISTMAS MUSIC... That was rather interesting. The one song that came on was THIS and we both kept laughing hysterically midrun and dropping the bag due to how ridiculous trying to shred to that song was. I always love laughing uncontrollably with Bob. The shred barn has shown me some of the most fun times in footbag.

Anyway, fun session...

Highlights:

 Skullsmasher bs!!! One right after the other! I'm so happy about that. Skullsmasher has been a dream trick since a LONG time ago... Like I'm talking the days of Flipsider... Really stoked I hit it both sides, one after the other. Feels good.
 Ducked flip Nuke just to show Bob I could do it... Still nothing out of it yet. Legs felt too jello'y to try it too many times. It'll be there eventually.
 Around 10 contacts of Blur> Legbeater rpt on strong side... Much less on weakside :\ But I figured out some good things about how to fix it... For one, my Blur on that side was way too high lol Oddly enough... I needed to stiffen my foot on that side a bit more, to keep the stepping set lower... But, along with that, I realized what helps me step duck better on that side and not as god on the other side... Here is just one observation I've made tonight... For stepping, you need your clipper to be loose, but not too too loose, and for stepping ducking stuff or bigger steppping tricks like Blurry Torque, you need to have your foot much looser. Maye that doesn't work for you, maybe it does.. but it certainly works for me.
 Ended the session with Bob's request... Ripwalk> Spinning Clipper> Whirl> Ducking Butter bs

That last link is actually going to be my "Homework" for the next few weeks... Bob always used to give me "Homework" when I was kicking with him regularly this past summer lol Nice to get some more from him. My homework is to work on 4 packs of 3/4 ADDs with a really small bag that Jeremy stitched. It's scary getting my training wheels taken off finally. But Bob's homework never hurt, always helped... actually got me to where I am now. So I'll be having a 30 minute session (at least) every day and working on packs of 4 Guiltless/Tripless. Looking forward to being able to replace Butterfly with Ripped Warrior 8)
