Nice job on patiently healing. Your shins love you.

I am really excited about PSU jam! Did you order those yellow and blue lavers? They look way better in real life. All the black dudes I work went thought they were the greatest shoes on earth. Lol.

lol nice Mike, I'm contemplating getting them still. I'm stoked for PA Jam too!

Had a session with 9 players total tonight. 2 of our brand new guys showed up. They are both learning very quickly.

Just had a basics session in my room since I don't wanna go to STAT tomorrow morning.

Highlights:

 Finally learned Butterfly
 Flipside ATW x8 (Never even done x5 on flipside before tonight)

I ordered those blue/yellow lavers finally. I couldn't help myself :P

And I'm going to be treating myself to something else this week. A slight body modification that will turn into something cooler down the road

In other news, Zach Hoffa and I talked today :) It was nice. We're friends again. The past is behind us. He said he still plays a bit every week or so and he's in the middle of stitching a really awesome 92 panel. He's doing well. We wanna hang out and kick a bag again soon.

THe blue and yellow lavers are so nice! I would've gotten them, but I found them within like 2 weeks of buying a new pair of normal ones :(

Enjoy them, dude!

Lovin the new Lavers!

Just got glycerin insoles for them! They are so dope. Like walking on water! I haven't played in them hardcore yet, but they really feel like they're helping with my shin splint recovery.

AMAZING INSOLES

Will update once I find out if they really are good for footbag... or just ask me this weekend when you get to PSU! Jampionships!!!! The time is finally nigh!!!!

Just got out of class and felt like kicking in my room for a minute... First decent highlight in a while:

Highlight:

 Reverse Swirl> Blender rpt (Gonna practice this a lot cuz I feel like it can lead to being really controlled) Pretty excited to hit that actually.

Penn State Jampionships is this weekend!!!! I'm so stoked! See you guys soon!

Picked Kevin up at the bus stop this morning then we went out to eat before the jam while everyone was still sleeping. Real outside jammin today! HUGE turnout!!!! Jay fucking showed up!!!!! Such a pleasant surprise.

Everyone came out of the woodwork today.

Highlights:

 Nuke Diving clipper 2 more times. It's actually getting pretty damn easy!
 Toe Far Blink b2b!!!!!!! More excited about that than Nuke Diving clipper :P Thanks for the help with this one, Doug.
 Got around a 10 contact string of doubles freestyle with Nadiah :) Really stoked on that.
 Nadiah hit her first 3 ADD!!! Osis! She's really digging the scene now that she's brushed off her shyness :) Her clippers are madd consistent now too!
 FUN.

Gonna take a shower in a second, then head over to Nathan's and meet up with everyone.

Fun ass day.

Awesome getting to see you again and actually getting to know you this time. You were a little shy the first time we met, which is weird knowing now how outgoing you are.

Sorry I really didn't get to say goodbye to you or Nadiah, I was trying to get to Ian's show because I hadn't seen it yet. But it was really great hanging out with both of you. Thanks for providing all the sweets!

I really like your game, and how you continue to push your game in unusual was instead of conforming to the norm. I wish I had more of that uniqueness. flap revstein flap was just insane, I honestly did not think you were going to be able to do it. Even after the first few attempts that looked good, I just never ever thought that trick would even be possible.

I forget who I was talking to about it, but your game just needs a little more control. With all the crazy unique tricks you do, you just need to refine some of the more basic things, and get those foundation tricks strong and you will be super good. I know you have been injured too, so you might posses these and are just rusty. Just what i noticed about your game over the weekend.

Thanks for teaching Anton some stuff. We honestly have played more together at tournaments than we have in Michigan, so I don't get a lot of time to try and teach him new things.

See you soon, I demand it!

Yo dude, great jam this past weekend! I had so much fun. It was good seeing you sitting up Sunday morning and not projecting anything from your mouth, other than the usual crap that comes out of it....

But yeah, I'm gonna try and stop by this summer and as much as I can when you and Nate get that sick shred house. You have a pretty awesome scene sprouting up in PA.

Erik: Thanks a lot man, It's a fun link... Actually easier than Blender> ss Butter rpt :\ Which is probably a bad thing.

Asmus: Thanks dude, I have a little footage from PSU Open circle, but t'was a bad show from me. I hit DSC to open a string, which was phat.

Zach: Yeah man, I wanna kick with you again asap. It was really nice getting to know you, and super interesting finding out that we had so much in common, especially about our dads :P Was a pleasure kicking and chatting.

Doug: *Uses a Skip card*

:P Awesome having you down here man. Thanks again for the help with toe blink b2b. As much as I bash you, I really look up to you. Wish we got to play more at PSU.

Anton: Anton!!!! Great to meet you buddy! Congrats on taking 1st!!! No way I can hit that yet lol Can barely get Nuke Dive Clipper, but I will have it as a goal. I'll think up some shit for you soon... Just gotta do madd homework first :P

Soooo.... Tonight, I blew off a bunch of work in order to play footbag... Because let's be honest, footbag is MUCH more fun than a 200 point Stat Lab, Duh. Played with Pipebomb, Ivan the Destroyer, and Ryan the Destroyer lol Ivan hit his first 4 add! PS Mirage. Ryan got madd consistent with Pdx Mirage. Nathan did something that you're just gonna have to read about in his blog, because I don't wanna ruin his... FUCK IT... NATHAN HIT 10 UNIQUE FEARLESS!!!!!!!!! Sorry Nate, I couldn't resist. I was so stoked for him! We were both flipping out. Anyway, read his blog to see what it was and stuff about it. Nathan made a whole bunch of gret drills for me and I hit most of them... Nathan calls them "Baby Tricks, man."

Drill Highlights:

 Gyro Butter> Stepping Clipper rpt
 Drifter> Spinning Butter rpt
 Pdx Illusion> Pixie Clipper rpt (The hardest for me :P
 Ducking Pdx Mirage> Fairy ss Clipper> Osis rpt

Nathan also helped me fix my ducking butterflys, drifters, and pdx illusions.

He really was a huge help tonight. I will continue to attend preschool with my baby tricks.

So, tonight was interesting. Remember how I said Nathan showed me how to hit a proper drifter last session? Well I finally cracked the code. I was NAILING b2b Drifters at the end of the session. I mainly drilled baby tricks tonight. Ivan cleared his first Nuke set! Ryan got Legover x10! Nathan drilled too. Marc hit his flipside Mirage a few times and a ton of strong side mirages. Miguel was getting close to ATW's but his shoes wouldn't let him. He doesn't have Lavers yet :P

Highlights:

 What was hard during the last session, was now something I can hit first try... Pdx Illusion> Pixie Clipper rpt Hit it a few times to start some runs. Feels so much better.
 Toe ss Whirl> Stepping Near Mirage rpt (This took a while... Difficult for me to step out of the flipside whirl. Nathan really knows my game. I'm excited for these drills and to see where they take me)
 Made this one up for myself: Whirl> Blender rpt (Much easier than the ones Nathan has been making up for me :P )
 Then I messed with the Drifters... Holy shit. Nathan taught me so well. I now completely understand Drifters. I was doing them SO wrong before. When I do them now, they feel like a whole new trick. They actually feel way easier too. I had Drifter x6 with LITTLE effort! I had x12 a while ago, but they were all so sloppy and rushed and off balance. These Drifters looked like how Nate and Clavens do theirs. Pdx Drifter got way easier too.
 Easy Votrex BSOS

Crazy how a little change of form can totally alter the way you hit a trick! I never liked Drifters before, but now that I know how fun they feel when you do them correctly, I plan on schooling them until I can get at least x30 and see where that takes me. Really hyped on Drifters now.

Oh and I almost forgot... I stitched this for Nathan today:

Thanks guys! Pleasure hanging out and kicking with you at PSU Jam, Boats. Digging the demo disc :)

Mark, thanks a lot dude and yeah Nate is helping me a lot! He's a really great shred partner and teacher.

I forgot, the other day when I figured out Drifters finally, I also hit

 Drifter Flapper (brand new)

So today was a HUGE project of footbag...

Image

FunBag #32

Figured I would try something out of the ordinary since this is my 32nd bag I've stitched :) Turned out so baller. Took me hours :P

Tricolor panel (Black w/ Sequins Pents & Purple/Red Hexes) Bicolor Spike (Purple/Red), Panels and Spikes both alternating color patterns.

Most annoying bag I've ever stitched :P

The design was inspired by a Bear Bag Anton Britting brought to PSU Jam last weekend. So, cheers for the inspiration, Brian!
