Janis,

Nice highlights! Keep up the good work. Work those clips till your legs fall off. At the EOS here in AZ even after our 5 hour session we always drill clips, butterflies, osii, and 2 adds. It is really paying off. We are all getting better. We will get a vid out soon. I look forward to your next vid too!

Take care and keep on shreddin
later,

thanks for posting guys.

Mike, I'm drilling the basics heaps during every solo session I do, actually my solo sessions are mostly about drilling basics. Stuff like ss clip>osis>rpt and ss clip>dlo>rpt and ss clipper>infinity>rpt have really made a huge difference for my clippers.

that is the coolest idea ever 8) thanks!

So the weirdest thing happened recently, I was watching that vid Jorden posted with the front body anchor move(the uber flexibility one) at the time I instantly thought about Pat (he used to do flexibility stuff like that eg. doof hopover, enuff' said). I also hit triple atw out in for the first time on the weekend. Then Pat unexpectedly drops by (one of my old friends who got me into hacky in the first place) and said that he has been circle kicking again and one of his mates was hitting triple atw recently. random?

It made me wonder how many people are out there who are really good at hacky without being "known" to the footbag community. I've now heard of 2 people who have hit tatw without being part of the hardcore shred community. Ah got some new people to meet up with now 8)

wow, melbourne people posting in my blog 8O

had a really rough session just then. Being sick has made everything sluggish.
Had a lot of trouble with osis. Decided to abandon the clipper moves and the shoes mid session.

managed to hit the datw in>enterrage>rpt and sealed it with some pixie legovers. Also worked on datw and cleaning up my flurrys.

tried to do some triple atw's, they are always close now, but still a bit off being consistent. Footed enterrage>tatw in-out.

that's about it.

I have no idea, perhaps a default one?

Finished editing some oldish video yesterday, I'll try to upload it today.

This is the first video from the Christmas calender so I waited until it was released before posting it here. It's a video from a few weeks ago:
http://www.footbagclub.com/15thNovMpeg4.mp4

I'd like to know if the pincher move is an invention, if you know please do make a post ;)

I know the pixie flurry on there is "the" but it's my only attempt on camera, I'll try to get a cleaner one soon.

hit a bunch of new moves today:

blurry op pickup to inside
pincher set blender
pincher set wauxpin (totally the bomb)
toe set miraging flail

inside set quantum op mirage
inside set quantum op illusion
inside set symp quantum op mirage

symp whirling op legover both sides

footed barraging op flail and janiwalker

I was very happy to pick up symp whirling set within 2 minutes, perhaps all those whirls and symp mirages I've been drilling have helped :D

thanks

Played yesterday, broke my inside stall records on both sides with 30 on left and 75 on the right foot. Also hit drifter > ss butterfly> rpt, took me like 10 mins of solid attempts to get it.

props.
since you're more of a toe player may I suggest these "hybrid" drills:

toe drifter > dlo [rpt]
toe drifter > barrage [rpt]
toe drifter > barrage > dlo [rpt]

I really want to find out the proper clipper positioning for non-symple swirls, I think I'm not setting it correctly.

Janis I just checked out the newest Melb video with you, Leon and Shrednie!

Wow! Dan was busting way harder than I remember at worlds. Totally great shred. His control is sooooo good, I've been trying to mimic his form.

I want to try that inside set toe blur. I bet I could do it :) Not sure though.

Anyway, just wanted to say great video. I think it was the best one of you've done to date.

Ben

Thanks for the post Ben.
With inside set toe blur be very careful with leg positioning, for me it feels a bit awkward.

Had a shred on sunday, had 15 people in attendance. Had a circle with Dan Ednie and Lynton Stephens at one point, it was really good to shred with Lynton again. He was really rusty but still hitting some really cool stuff.

There was a good moment when I was in a circle with Dan and Alex, I hit a good pixie flurry and sailing dlo, passed the bag to Dan and he hit a great blurriest swirl. 4 dex circle, yay! :P

Played some epic games of four square with Pat S, Leon, Brendan Erskine and Andrew. Awesome fun.

really annoying session just then. Decided to break my pixie same legover records on both feet. got off to a really good start with flipside, but then stongside sorta disappeared, like I have no idea what happened that's my uber good pixie foot :\

then I tried triple atw, didn't hit it once >.<
footed in to out about 10 times but no luck.

probably hit it next session

had an osis drill session just then

hit:
toe near osis> near pickup> rpt 6contacts
whirl > osis> rpt
and osis>far osis>rpt :D

had a breakthrough on osis, need to see the bag hit the foot and really rotate heaps to compensate for my shit crank. Hugely positive session, great to finally hit some osis moves :D
