Nick thanks:)
Derek ....dude hopefully this season :)

had a session in quantum today.....today is the day i begin to eat right and work out and shred regularly.... yesterday i saw incubus in concert and dressed like i was going to worlds....had on matching gear and even my red white and blue units......today.....i decided to play in qs....and honestly i feel that now that i can do spinning clipper>blur on flip at all and have it feel better is a huge milestone for me.....i feel that after injury a while back i never truly was able to feel even again on both clippers....on one side i could hit 20 spins first try and on flip i got 2......not good numbers....my main goal now regardless of what shoes I'm in is to gain flip control of certain drills, start to bring breathing and slowing down back in ( the video doesn't show that ) and then utilize my good tricks and go long.
hope someone like this ....

You're one of those players whom when they post in moddymoddmodd, I just gotta read, and in this case, WATCH! My initial thought after watching is, MAN I love that spinning string. I'm going to watch again now and take some more notes...

Okay! Here we go! There was so much shuffle in that first string, I thought I was in a casino. spinning swirling legover BSOS, what? how many people besides you do that set? You've definetly left your MARK in footbag... Swirling gyro pickup midstring was so steezy I watched it about 5 times in a row. Pdx whirl>twirl>dyno>rpt? That seems like a mind twister of a drill. I've said this before, but you have some of the absolute best torques in all of footbag.

My local footbag player, Brian and I, were talking about you the other day and we discussed how we think it's humorously insulting to us that you think you want to get good at footbag one day.

Been called out on a dusty blog ... Getting the dust off ...
I sucked horribly when I played with Ken in Boulder
Honestly I've been working on my flip spin and clipper so much without any improvements but then recently noticed a couple of things .
My left clipper was caught way closer to my body and behind my support leg where as my Weak clipper and weak osis was lazy and is still the weakest part of my game .. I started substituting Osis for dyno which is easier for me to hit and requires more focus .
Paul G has been giving me some really nice compliments and gave me a challenge to hit a bunch of tricks in one run, even though I'm not there yet I'm working on it
Here's a video of me from yesterday ..
I feel like I could hit phasing Gyro pick up back to back so I will start working on it .
Even though I still walk around in lavers , I will no longer play in them . Sorry nick ;) For many reasons labors do not really allow me to play footbag ... Some of it is my form , most of it is the fact that the shoe sucks . I've decided to stick to the shoes that I feel like I'm pushing my game and maybe someday the sport .
My main objective in foot back is been to fix my right clipper I've been doing drills to even out my sides , been hitting stuff only on flip , and it wasn't until this session where I felt I was getting better ....

The better I get, the more I realize how much my flip clipper sucks.
Phasing Gyro Pickup was sweet, excited to see that b2b.
I've also recently switched to Units, have only had one full session in them and I was half injured, but i'm pretty optimistic that i'll enjoy them. It seems like I have to pay attention more to the release of the clipper.

had another good session today....feel like I'm getting better and better....
the runs look small i know but I'm so stoked to be able to comfortably hit mid run flipside step and pixie ss stuff....... now that I'm starting to lock up some sort of right clipper , my footbag game will grow more than ever..... Im starting to feel that a certain upper body position, hand position, style of play is working for me..... the goal was imply to feel in control of the bag with anything at first then to expand....now its time to take about 10-15 tricks i do that i like, put a trick before and after it, keep pushing.....
some tricks im picking are ... ( will have other tricks but these are the focus...)
phasing rev up
phasing twirl
paradon swirl
swirling gyro pickup
gyro symple swirl
symp quantum legover
spinning whirl
swirling spinning
mobius
p blender
Most of my focus will just be control of my game and 30 + trick runs... other than that , ill have a sick 3 , and a sick 1..... sick three is looking like phasing rev up>paradon swirl>food, sick one is probably gonna be working towards hitting a cool swirling spinning ducking trick...maybe p torque or hopefully swirling spinning butterfly swirl can be on lock down

Today even though I was tired, I decided to just take one trick at a time, I wasn't paying attention to the length of my run and it felt great and this is what happened

Been way to long since I've been in here... Facebook has taken over and it's time to get back to my blog ..
I've been playing ... Finally starting to even out my right clipper. Playing in quantums that I got from Lon. I'm going to document everything from now till worlds in Portland. I'm planning on going. If the universe allows me to stay injury free that would be amazing.

Going to separate the next sessions into link sessions and run sessions.
Link sessions will pick a set number of combos and hit them like 20 times in each session ... Run sessions will put them all together...
Tricks I'm using ...
Paradon swirl > spin
Spinning whirl > möbius
Ripstein > spin

Phone about to die ...be back soon
