First post!!!

Welcome to modified, your source for footbag goodness! Not a fan of your blog title. FYI you're already better than thousands of "footbaggers."

But... I do like the first post. Tiltless is on the direct path to fearless. I can't wait to see what this blog has to offer in the future. Please post highlights, frustations, anything!

I have a weird feeling that this blog is going to end up having some ridiculous tricks and combos in it eventually. Btw, you definitely don't suck at shredding. You've gotten pretty darn good from the first time I met you to now.

Keep drilling and playing. Hopefully I'll kick with you again at least a few more times before I move.

Peace man.

had a 2 hour session last night trying to piece together tiltless strings. 4 contacts was all I got until I had to bail into a toe stall

That's totally ok, dude. Just do that 4 contact tiltless string, then bail to toe, then do another 4 contact (or however many you can manage) string, and then keep going like that until you feel like you can comfortably substitute that toe stall with a 2 ADD trick.

To style it up a little, instead of bailing to toe stall, try to bail to inside stall sometimes. Just adds a little variety. I used to do A LOT of Inside stalls when I was at your level.

Becoming a Tiltless, eh? That's funny. You should drop a lil' background info on your shred, seeing as most of us may not be familiar with it. Otherwise, what's your record for consecutive kicks and stalls? What are all the tricks you can do, and what are the tricks you are most comfortable with? How often are you playing, and are those sessions solo or with a partna'? Sure you'll be shredding with the top dawgs in no time.

hey everyone im carter. I was first introduced to hacky sack back in 2013 by Nathan bonslaver. I hackied for a whole summer and thought I was so good at life, but I was so one sided and couldn't even do stalls. I completely stopped hacky sacking for a few years. at a youth group retreat in January I saw Nathan again for the first time in a while. we talked for a while and he began showing me footbag tricks. I had never heard anyone refer to it as footbag before. that day I hit my first around the world and I was hooked on footbag that very instant.

kicks:
strong side- 60
flip side- 12
both sides- 22

Toe stalls- 40

clippers:
strong side- 9
flip side- 4
both- 6

trick arsenal:
-clipper
-mirage
-legover
-pickup
-butterfly
-flapper stall (strong side)
-inside stall
-outside stall
-ducking clipper (strong side)
-ducking butterfly (strong side)
-osis
-swirl (strong side)
-Whirl (strong side)
-Dada curve (strong side)
Most comfortable tricks:
clipper, butterfly, mirage

I usually shred by myself, but I shred with Nathan B., Nick Polini, Ivan Iakimenko (once)

Nice intro, but maybe you should edit your first post and copy paste this intro into the first post, so we can find it easily and you can edit it. Also, just in that post, under "trick arsenal", I challenge you to only post the tricks that you can do on both sides ;) That will definitely help you push your flipside more.

Also, you've dome Clipper, Mirage, and Butterfly on both sides, right?

My back is starting to feel better, so I hope to kick with you, Nathan, and Danny sometime next week! Keep pushing, dude!

just got back from creation fest. had a great time and got a little shredding in. increased my average string length from 3 to about 5 contacts. I joined two hack circles and blew some minds by doing simple things like clippers and atws. if anyone tries to text me, don't bother my phone is completely broken.

highlights: lengthened string length, hit my first osis on accident, lavers got a bit muddier 8)

Nice. Do those 5 contacts to a toe stall to reset yourself, then push for a few more then toe stall to reset again... Do that a few times and you'll have 20 contacts before you know it!

got a new pair of lavers yesterday for a steal on ebay (20$ brand new). I haven't modified them quite yet due to me packing for a 5 day vacation to deleware. hoping to get some shredding in on the board walk, and to pick up some ladies in my free time.

The end cracked me up. Nice find with the Lavers. Jeez 20 bucks is super cheap, considering I'm currently shredding in a 100 dollar pair :/ that's all they have now. But someone just found a new shoe called "Levi's Aarts" and they're apparently very solid. Good luck shredding on the boardwalk and picking up babes :P hopefully we can shred next week sometime

I walked to dairy queen from the beach today and started shredding with a blizzard in my hand, and a babe walks up to me and says dude that's sick... mission accomplished.

on another note I have been working on osis and trying to work it into strings but I need a little help with hitting it more consistently.

highlights:
osis bsos
picked up a babe
