knees!!
Yeah so I've never had knee problems in my life. I've been playing for about 2 months now. I think about 2 days ago I noticed when I go up/down stairs my knees have been hurting and sometimes when I'm shredding. Is there anyway to reduce putting stress on the knees while playing...

Hmm...I was having knee problems about 3 months into playing. Then it went away. Then came back briefly, then went away again.
www.hoodshouse.com I believe has some good knee exercises, but I have a few too.
Put your back against a wall and dip down, bending your knees, and do about 10 reps at a time of those. There's another one but I can't remember right now. Look into doing knee stretches/exercises though, they may help with the immediate problem, as well as the long-term one.

Hey thanks for the tips...only I can't do the dip thing...cuz when I put pressure on my knee when it's bent it's pretty painful and almsot gives out. I've also been having problems with my hip at the joint. Sometimes while shredding I'll aggravate it somehow n it'll hurt to lift my leg up forward for a couple days.shredzilla wrote:Hmm...I was having knee problems about 3 months into playing. I used to have hip joint pain from footbag too, coincidently right when I started hitting butterflies. There is a pretty good hip and butt stretch on hoodshouse.com. I also like this one:Footbag Forever wrote:I've also been having problems with my hip at the joint. Do it 3x before and after each session. I got to the point where I did it so often my hip flexors are very flexible now, and I only need to do it once a week or so. No more hip pain! YaY!

Hey thanks so much for the help. I'll start this little routine up today; I'll let you know how it's working out in a few days.Iron Clad Ben wrote:I used to have hip joint pain from footbag too, coincidently right when I started hitting butterflies.
