So the general consensus of this thread is that vitamin water and its variants have positive effects on your stamina?

I actually don't recall feeling any difference when consuming power drinks rather than normal water during sports activities. I'm wondering if the effects you feel are psychological or I've been trying the wrong brands.

Plus, anyone heard of or tried a drink called "Vaam"? I saw a national geographic show on it, it's supposed to be made of some Japanese hornet feed, supposedly a Japanese athlete who got a marathon gold medal in the Sydney Olympics claimed the drink was an important factor in helping her achieving this.

yes, because you lose vitamins and minerals while you do sports. when I drink vitamin water before and during my session, I will be tired later. and these waters helps for the regeneration. or you can use supradyn multivitamin tablets with 1-2 clocks before your session. this also worked for me.

Anyone tried Life Water by Sobe? It's pretty much the same thing.

I tried the energy and power vitamin water this weekend. Expensive. Energy tasted funny. Didn't notice any affect from either.

I like the focus, lemondade, and XXX flavors. I do drink them before I play, and i've noticed that when I do I don't feel as tired as when I don't, but they really don't have that much of an effect on me.
Miss playing footbag, hope to start kicking again soon

I liked it better before Coca-Cola bought it. The ingredients only changed slightly...but the way I feel remains.

(they expanded the sources of waters and sweeteners)

Ahhh, capitalism. You can sell people something that is free, tell them it's good for them and they will buy it up like crazy. Hell, some people will swear to their graves it improves their (performance). The best thing is all the plastic that is thrown away from buying all this water. To me, it makes complete sense to buy vitamin water.
