Kimbe. Challenges
Kimbe. Challenges
Hello everybody.
I'm
Kim Berg, 16 yo from Vaasa Finland.
I've been playing for little over 1 year and a half, and actually seriosly for half a year. I'm still mixing some guilts in my game and my goal is to be able to do a trick bothsided with a big success.
So, I thought some challenges would be for good since I'm getting very little outside influence (two players over here).
Tricks:
2 adds: the basic moves here are quite solid, I can easily do 10 of them in a row both sides.
EDIT: Relearnt Illusions, they are pretty good now.
Sets:
Pixie: Good
Fairy:Good
Stepping: Can't really do midstring
Atomic: Can't do midstring
3 adds: Bops are solid
Whirls: Good
Swirls: Good
Spinning: Quite good, could be better
Ducking: Really good
Diving: Really good
DATW: Right foot solid, left foot (flip) 1 out of 5 tries
Drifters: Pretty good, could be better as well
Yeah, that's it. Sure I forgot something but that's about it.
Now then just challenge me.

I've done 50 contacts tiltless if my mirage record counts but repetition is never badsniikeri wrote:- legover - atw oi - legover - atw oi - pickup - atw io - pickup - atw io - mirage - ss mirage - mirage - ss mirage - illusion - ss illusion - illusion - ss illusion
- 50 contacts tiltless
Thanks for a quick reply!
When doing that 50 tiltless contacts use different tricks, don't make a new mirage record again, when trying this Try to use as many unique moves as you can.Kimbe. wrote: I've done 50 contacts tiltless if my mirage record counts but repetition is never bad
Other challenges:
5 whirls in a row both sides
butterfly (from clip)>ripwalk>osis repeat
spinning clipper>ducking clipper repeat
smear>pixie legover repeat
drifter>whirl repeat
Can you hit pdx drifter? If you cant', then hit it bs. If you can -> hit pdx drifter bsos
How much can hit guiltless? Hit 15 tricks guiltless, try to be as genuine as possible using as many unique tricks as you can.
fear>smear>atom smasher
make a new ripwalk record
make a new osis record
make a new butterfly (infinity) record

Yeah, hitting a new mirage record wasn't my intention .Tuukka wrote:When doing that 50 tiltless contacts use different tricks, don't make a new mirage record again, when trying this Try to use as many unique moves as you can.Kimbe. wrote: I've done 50 contacts tiltless if my mirage record counts but repetition is never bad
All of the challenges so far sound reasonable , even though that 50 tiltless could take a while because I tend to mix in too hard tricks

Sniikeri: From the Kimbe's first post I got the impression that he masters the basics. After all if he can do 10 illusions in a row and that is his worst move, I think he can go and practice guiltless. Nevertheless he should still continue practising the basics as well, just didn't put it there as I thought it was a self-evident fact.sniikeri wrote:Challenge:
- Don't go guiltless too soon.
I don't really understand why Tuukka and TheLast gave you only guiltless challenges, unless you're tiltless game has been solid for some time now.
Q: How long are your average combos?
-Tuukka Antikainen
Some sort of misunderstanding here... well I can't do 10 illusions in a row (not at least with the flip side), but with the other 2 adds I can.Tuukka wrote:Sniikeri: From the Kimbe's first post I got the impression that he masters the basics. But hey, of course I'm practising the basics too, I think both guilts and guiltless for challenge is good. Personally I think it's very hard to keep the interest for the game up if you only do 2 adds, but again they have to be practised as well.
