Lon Smith on American Idol

Post by ShredOnLawn » 15 Mar 2006 17:17

The time has come.

Auditions are april 6th, 7th and 8th. I got invited.

I need help.

I need to send a 3 minute video of what "My Talent" is to LA by next friday!!!

NBC Variety Show

America's Got Talent

The idea is to have a winner from the show go on to have their own show or part in another show after winning the summer series.

This is it. Please help.

I'm gunna win $100,000.00 plus go on to do other shows on TV.

I was thinking...

Lon, that is AWESOME!!!

So, what do you need with? Just do your thing man!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't think of anything inteligent to say, but I'm excited for you. Ducks and spins seem to impress the average viewer. So do double dex tricks.

sounds great!

since you or others likely won't be able to produce a good video in this short time, send in the one from sjff with you, jim n jorden. tell 'em you're featured in this "teaser" ... it looks best of all videos out there that feature you, and for non-footbaggers, it is way more entertaining (which prolly is what they are looking for anyways) than a video that shows all your skills, but isn't edited as well.

good luck!

and for the audition, just play a great routine

lookin forward to your tv show!

--> Black and White routine video. <--

I don't think the sjff really does you justice (from what I recall it's Jorden, Jim and yourself taking turns to link up unique 5s??).

YES!
Todexon Special!!!! This video was SICK!!! (the Absolut Footbag one...)
It was perfect! I agree that Kevin's SJFF doesn't reflect Lon as best as it could -- it was a fast song, and doesn't suit Lon's smooth style as well as it focused on Jorden and Jim. The only problem is that it's like, amost 7 minutes long :? Eric Windsor's Lon Smith Special is some hardcore shred -- I don't like the vibe of the video as much (music of Todexon Special = pure Lon), but it's also really impressive, pure Lon, good music, and I think the slow-moed double-dex run would impressive them...

LON SMITH TODEXON SPECIAL!!!! (I think it was 05, though, if we're talking about tha same one...)
I'm going to go watch it right now many times.

Okay, so I need help downloading the Lon Smith Todexon 2004 Special and putting it onto a DVD.
Should be easy with Joe Crain's help.
I don't know where to download it.
I guess the czech footbag site would have it, what's that www?

I just looked, and I don't think it's there. I think it must be up somewhere, but I uploaded it just in case: http://www.footbag.org/gallery/show/-7675

I would really consider adding some stuff from your smith1 video. (Lon Smith special from monsterhack.)

That video has some of the most disgusting runs and combos in it.

you're not gonna win if you send just a shred video

if you fly me out and someone lets me use a camera ill interview you and the people that know you around your home town and well make you the winning video

They cut me off about 1 minute into the song "Billy Jean" and I told them "Wait, it's a 3 minute audition and I haven't even bust out my big tricks yet!" and then I hit some great tricks and caught it on my neck and then in my hand behind my back.

Dropless
1.5 minutes.

They didn't like it.
I never got a call back.

Bummer.

Good experience though.
