let's ask modified!
As many (most) of you have noticed, there's been quite a bit of drama going on in the Modified scene. It all began when a lonely old man decided he wanted to cry like a 12 year old, and not only cry but whine and bitch to the whole community over something pathetically trivial. Anyways, I just thought i'd try and get a general concensus regarding the attitudes of Modified members towards this individual and his sorry, sorry way of handling it.

hahaha of course i have no right to decide, thats why i dont have the power to decide. unfortunately for all of us, this thread has nothing to do with whether he will stay or go, it only puts into perspectives the attitudes of our members.
now im not really here to debate, because ive already made my decision obviously, and in my humble opinion since this is only the 2nd or 3rd post ive even made mentioning his name since the VERY BEGINNING of this entire ordeal with chris being a whiny bitch towards me, i dont feel out of line whatsoever.
you can vote me out all u want, but this isnt about me.
...i never cried and cried about hypocrisy and unfair treatment and subsequently said a pathetic fare-well, only to return after a measly 2 days to bring more childish insults and negativity to the boards.
no sir, that was DOUCHEBAG (yeah i said it) chris miller

I may have some differences with Chris, good and bad, but this is really ridiculous. Surely I know you're going for a pure democratic consensus here, but I would let the mods handle this.
And I'm also sure that the majority of us here are merciful to even the most despicable actions. I don't like the idea of alienating a person so explicitly in public.
And yes, I'm aware of Chris' actions. I'm trying to be a tad bit optomistic on the whole issue.
edit: My comments in this thread is MOOT.

What does it mean if I havn't noticed any of this so called drama? Maybe people are just focusing on matters of little importance because they have nothing better to do (just a thought).

Oh, good. I thought I was the only one that had no idea what all this childishness was about.jon wrote:What does it mean if I havn't noticed any of this so called drama? Maybe people are just focusing on matters of little importance because they have nothing better to do (just a thought).
So it's agreed then? Storm in a tea-cup.

Seriously blunt, it's over man, just get a life.
I personally think the Discussion forum, and flaming in general should not be allowed. Then you never have this type of lame thread in a forum about footbag. You have people actually talking about GASP footbag.
Here's a concept: You want to talk about religion, politics, or just spout profanity and vulgarities? Go to a political forum, or a religious forum, or one that has a really liberal policy on profanity and vulgarity ie. a porn forum. I understand you need to get it out of your system, but why here? It just doesn't make sense to me honestly.

I find this statement a contradictory to the issue at hand.shredzilla wrote:I understand you need to get it out of your system, but why here? It just doesn't make sense to me honestly.
And I agree with Greenwood that there are bigger problems that need to be settled than what is discussed in this thread.

And Waylon....I'm now actually not sure modified has problems that you or I can solve. The personal issues of its members are well beyond our control, and any psychosis or dumb threads are just by-products of their insecurities and poor understanding of group dynamics.

Well to be honest, I posted my comic in retaliation of bluntobj3ct's use of vulgarity in signature. In fact, I simply cut and pasted the exact vulgarity in question into my comic. While some, or most may think my comic was inappropriate, I felt that using it in the way that I did, would have a similar effect as political cartoons do in newspapers. Simply to raise awareness to a political mishap through a cartoon.slapdash21 wrote:i kind of feel like you're the first one that posted the vulgarity, chris. just to be honest.
So, to answer yours and Waylon's question, No, I wasn't the first one to post said vulgarity. Bluntobj3ct was.
I'm totally willing to move on, in fact I already have. But again, if people are going to misconstrue the facts, then it's at least my obligation to set them straight.
