I definately want to enter. By posting here, I hope to motivate myself to actually film and send. I'll probably do Novice Sick Link or Novice Sick 3.

I consider myself a complete novice, but what if I pull out some of the only hard tricks I can do (that happen to be 5 adds)? Should I then enter in the open group? I don't want to be a sandbagger.

I said the same thing to my dad (although I can only do 4 adds). He told me that even if you had played for years, but you never competed, then you were a novice to competition. You may not know all of the rules and how the competition works. So therefore, I say you would not be sandbagging to enter as a novice. I am!

Ok cool thanks. I'm not even sure if I'll be able to pull off any of my big tricks anyway, I haven't really played in a couple weeks. Hopefully I can find my camera before the deadline is up.

Compete at whatever level you feel most comfortable competing at. If you really don't want to compete open, don't do it.

Of course if you don't compete open but it turns out you should have, you'll cop shit about it, especially from me. That said, usually the person editing the video makes the decisions about where people compete, and as far as I recall, has always done a good job, so what you decide may be irrelevant. You should definitely still agonise for hours over making the right decision though. ;)

Have entered a sick 1 and 2 :D

Don't expect anything amazing from me though. My sick 2 is kind of amusing though. I had just been messing around and hit this combo (not on film) and thought it was cool so entered it, but later realised I could have certainly hit something way harder - it's really just the link that is hard - I could have hit a much more difficult downtime, or I should have made it a sick 3. My sick 1 was fairly frustrating as I hit the trick twice for camera and then discovered each time the lighting was really bad, so I ended up turning the gain up really high (hence all the noise) and then struggled to hit it - which was annoying since the first two times were virtually straight away and also much better than the version I did hit. Also I have hit the same trick with an extra 2 adds at the end, so probably not going to be the hardest trick in the competition :P

Extending the deadline is increasing my competition and making it more difficult for me to win. Therefore I oppose this.

Just kidding, nobody can beat me. I've been seeded for Aus champs ahead of the technical world number 2, so therefore claim to be the best footbagger in the world, and also not faulty at logic at all.

Doesn't my arrogance just make you want to prove me wrong? Only getting to beat 2 other people will be very disappointing. ;)
