Online Competition 2013 Official Release!
First of all I want to thank all those who sent videos, it was gratifying to see so much encouragement in people. I am satisfied with the editing of the videos, but still hope to improve much next time. Also next time I'll seek help from experienced players for the correct classification of the tricks in "open" and "novice".
Posted below are links to the video for each competition, each contains all the video entrys to that competition.

Thank you for getting this out so quickly. How does the judging work? Are we going to do a voting system of some kind?

For those interested on judging, you can post your ranks here, if not enough people post ranks, I'll use a voting system, so we can chose a winner..
Pst: Deadline for judging posts is september 22th (almost 2 weeks)

Just a tip, I honestly don't even think you should split this into novice and open. All of these tricks were pretty Open level. Especially if you're calling Khoa's Pixie Zulu Eclipse "Novice" and Anton's Blurry Whirl "Open" and Cassy's Casket (Fairy ss Drifter) "Open". I counted 4 novice entries... Sorry to say it, but this system seems flawed.
I think you should get everyone to vote on placement, saying that they were all Open entries.
Anyone agree?

Wow, insane variety! Gonna post sone voting when I got home, hard to judge cleanlyness on a phone screen!
For next time I'd love a distinction between open and novice. Not necessarily 2videos but maybe separate section's.
Thanks forall the work you put in this!

2 quick thank yous:
1. Thanks to Paulo for making this happen. The community response shows that there was clearly interest in this, but it wouldn't have happened without your efforts.
2. Thanks to everybody who submitted a video. It warmed my heart to see so many entries.
I need to rewatch the video, but I gotta say the jumprope magellan and Aleksei's breakbag really stood out for me.

I did not really decide where to put each player, I put Anton's and Cassy's tricks in Open because when they sent those tricks by email they wrote "OPEN SICK1", and I tought they wanted their tricks to be in Open, Khoa wrote "NOVICE SICK1" so I put it in novice, that's all.... I know it's not the best system, but that's what i did

Waaaay too freakin' hard to judge. Aleksei's b-boy move was really rad, Jahner's super P. DLO was fly, Anssi's Trifly made me sick, so clean, as with sir Boychuk's. I'm not even 100% on what is happening with Nick P.'s, except it's BIG, and then Marco's is pretty much my dream's dream trick.
Matt Cross' was super styley, like whoa. And then, of course, you have Mr. Bear's
This looks like a win for footbag, though.

When I think of a novice footbag player somebody who can barely hit legover comes to mind. To be lumped in such a category is slightly offensive.
Not sure why there even needs to be two categories. Open should be sufficient..
I really liked MC's unique sick 3!! But then Anssi's was just some next level shit

You are right about the "novice" thing, it should be "intermediate" not novice
