Pfeiffer Bags, 9 to sell, $20 each!

Post by century264 » 06 Nov 2008 15:10

Hey Modified, I'm just casting my nets out there, seeing if people are interested in cheap, good quality bags while I improve my stitching.

I'm also looking to go to New Year's Jam this year, so if you're looking for a good guy to join the ranks, I'd love the support.

Price: $20
Shipping:Free For You!

Fill Type and Weight: between 54 and 60 grams, Steel size 7 shot and poly mix
Fill Proportion: A little less than 2/3 full
Size: As you will see in the pictures, they are about as large as a golfball
Gather:Low to medium, but I'm working into higher gather
Bite: Shallow, but I'm working on getting deeper

Payment Method: I have no real preference. I have a paypal account that I use to buy things on ebay. If you are interested in going that route, I am into it, however I am unsure on how to use paypal for this. Anyone who's bored and knows, I would love a tutorial in a pm or something.

I do custom orders, but part of me selling these is to get some money to finance buying different fill and fabric for your buying pleasure. My current colors are:
Flash Red, Tulip, Atlantis, Petit Pois, a little Princess purple, Country Cream and a little brown I got from Matt Cross. I can't tell which it is, but those who know Matt Cross know that it must not be a color that will blow out quickly.

Oh yes, and if anyone is interested in a trade of bags, I am also into that idea

Current Bags for sale:

$20 and free shipping is very generous! These are wonderful bags, and Ian is a swell guy. I've been playing with Pfeiffer bags for over a year now and can say you will not be disappointed. I don't stitch so Idk how legitimate this next statement is, but from what I can gather (hehe, get it? Cuz a footbag has gather... aw forget it) his stitching technique resembles that of Matt Cross, who is currently one of the hottest stitchers on the east coast. So if you've ever bought an MC bag and thoroughly enjoyed it, I can tell you now that you will enjoy an Ian Pfeiffer bag just as much!

Good to see you finally start selling your bags modifiedworldwide!

Peace
Doug Tank

Thanks for the endorsement, Doug. I forgot to mention my style resembles Matt's. Everyone think Early Matt Cross, shading into midtimey Matt Cross Bags. I modeled my style originally after one of his bags in the thirties, I believe, since the first true 32 panel bag Doug and a few other guys who've stopped playing and I played with was a bag Doug won at YEAH 06, and after that I tried to make my bags look like that one.

keep a heavyish bag open, Ian. I'll shred with you and Doug Thanksgiving. There, you can sell me a bag and I shall give thanks for dedicated, talented stitchers such as yourselves.

more than once I've mistaken your bags for mine at sessions. it makes me smile to see the similarities.

So I've only had a few sessions so far with my Pfeiffer bag, but so far so good!

Super playable right away, and the perfect size and weight (a lot like an MC bag). The stitching is a little uneven in some spots, but this does not affect playability.

So far I give it an 8/10

Definitely a steal for $20!

Hey Brian, sounds like an idea. You're coming to NYJ, right? You wanna feel up each other's sacks there and we can make a better trade? I just want you to be satisfied by what you get from me.

And thanks Josh, sorry I didn't get the name.
