Big Apple Sauce-anyone else than Kenny??

Post by mitko » 04 Jan 2007 11:37

I've never heard that someone has even tried to hit it.
If this could be a challenge than let it be :P
c'mon, Jorden you can do it :P

Lon has hit it. If not bsos, then both sides.

Spinning Blurry Backside Torque. The first 8, and that was before X-Dex...

clip > back spin > op in (paradox) > op out (symp) > op osis.

Sorry, obviously not exactly perfect Jobs, but I haven't written anything in Job's in a while, and its pretty late, and I've had a bit to drink...

You can think of it like this: spinning paradox miraging op symp torque. Its a very Kenny move.

The way I remember it is: spinning voodoo bail to osis.

i tried to hit that, but that's too hard. i have no idea how to bail the trick to osis.

i'd love to see a video with big apple sauce.

well I've tried it. But as setman noted, I can't "bail" a voodoo to osis. As I've also stated somewhere before, when I have tried this move I think of it as spinning symp. swirling (pdx) blender

Hey I bet Jorden could hit it...

I remember seeing a post where Lon said he'd hit it both sides.

yeah i also bet that Jorden CAN hit it (just reminding that he hit furious voodoo in the last movie of the christmas calendar soo...)

and it would be lovely if somebody could post a vid of that move, ive seen it twise- 1st-Kenny(just a single trick movie), 2nd-Kenny(Footjam 2005 or 2004 i dont remember but i have it on vid )
c'mon mr Smith : P if you got it on vid can you post it.

and if some "easier" variations had (or have -whats the correct form of the verb????) been hit can you tell me?,
like pdx miraging op symp torque or gyro miraging op symp torque etc.

thank you guys : )

I agree with Max. All the videos of Kenny hitting it, it looks like a spinning far symp swirling pdx blender. The supposed "1st dex" occurs while the symp mirage dex is happening b/c both legs are "stacked" on top of each other in the air. It usually seems like the pdx mirage dex is just hovering over the bag most of the time and not distinctly passing over it right away.

I'm not a fan of referring to moves as "bails" of other moves. For example, double blender isn't a whirr bailed to osis. Double blender is a slightly harder trick. How can this be a bail?

Describing moves this way doesn't make much sense, especially if this "bail" is over 7 adds. :P

I'll try spinning far symp swirling pdx blender this week.

I was giving this some tries today

Has it ever been done with a flail replacing the symp mirage?

The "easier" version is called "Anonymous". I think it is the same trick minus the last dex (but I'm not positive on that...).

Nobody ever explained to me what Anonymous was supposed to be, from from having seen it a couple times on video, I had always thought of it as a Spinning Butterfly Swivel (like, spinning butterfly symposium swirling osis). Have I been completely wrong about it all this time? I have the move on a dvd (tricks of the trade 2, actually), but its 2:00 am here, I've just kicked for four hours, and I've got work tomorrow. I ain't puttin no damn disc in no damn machine right now... Somebody please clear this up for me. Thanks.

I thought anonymous was spinning voodoo.
Like Big Apple Sauce would be anonymous "bail" to osis
The move that Kenny hits on video at footjam 05 was a spinning far symposium swirling osis... That's a bit like a Bip Apple Sauce without the first dex.

My 2 cents, which are prolly wrong:

I was under the impression that

anonymous= spinning blurry symp torque
and
big apple sauce=spin. blurry symp torque (ending with blender not osis)
My name: Jeremy Mirken, AKA Chocolatey Shatner, AKA jerk enemy rim.

anonymous is a spinning paradox miraging symp miraging refraction, which can look a lot like (or be) a spinning symp swirling osis if the first dex isn't really clean or there at all.

I think there is just too much confusion.
I remember someone (maybe Kenny) saying that Anonymous is Big Apple Sauce "minus the sauce", whatever that means. I also heard minus the last dex.

But at the same time I made a video once where Derek Vandall and I were trying to figure out the move, and at the end I finally described/performed in slowmo without a bag spinning miraging symp torque and Kenny said that that is what Big Apple sauce is. This is kind of confusing because Jeremy's description of the tricks makes the most sense.

I was also under the impression that Big Apple Sauce was never caught on video and that all the videos floating around were just of Anonymous...

that would make it a spinning blender.

bleh whatever. Anyway Erik, I *also* thought that this trick has not been captured on video.. so: ANY LINKS TO A VIDEO??

from what i always understood anonymous has a refraction instead of an osis - actually an add more but literally is the bail from big apple sauce (big apple sauce being spinning pdx miraging symp torque)
to do an osis in big apple sauce the bag has to travel outside from the miraging leg and hence looks like a blender. this is how i always understood it and it also makes sense to me. i'd like to hit either
