There have been like, only two different 4 dex combos ever hit.

Another useless thread -- I'm not surprised.

Sweet, well I've hit two different 4 dex combos, so that must mean I'm the only person to ever hit 4 dex combos.

Oh wait, I'm not the person in that video.

I can think of 4 different 4 dex combos that I know have been hit, and considering one was almost 3 years ago, I suspect there are probably more.

Surprisingly, what gets posted on modified isn't the only footbag combos that get hit.

I've done nemesis>nemesis and arch nemesis>nemesis. That's two, and I could probably do nemesis>blurriest swirl if I tried hard enough.

So, yea.

how about nemesis > nemesis > nebula/clownface/blurriest swirl?

I know you can do it, it's just a matter of when

I've hit furious dlo>sailing ss dlo and sailing ss dlo>sailing ss barrage - also 4 consecutive sailing ss dlos, I don't know if that counts.

There are a few others I've landed, but am fairly sure they involved "the" moves - sailing ss dlo>sailing double down (fusion style) and sailing ss dlo>sailing ss merlin. I also hit sailing ss dlo>sailing op dlo but the bag hit the back of my calf on the second move, so I don't really count it.

The other combos I knew of were nemesis>nemesis from Dave C, which is what I assumed that video was of (having only read about it, and I don't watch many videos) and nemesis>arch nemesis from Vasek in 2004.

I think furious dlo>sailing ss dlo>sailing whatever is definitely the "easiest" 3 4 dex move combo that I could hit, but furious dlo>sailing is seriously hard for me and certainly the times that I have hit that combo, it hasn't been well enough for me to be that happy with it. I guess if I got back into shooting something like shooting dlo>sailing ss dlo>sailing something would be a good one too - all strong moves.

Great variety

that was one of the coolest posts in a long time. MAJOR PROPS on thos combos man. And yes, that link of like 6 or 7 4 dexes does seem pretty impossible to clean all the dexes, you'd have to have infinite control and speed. I think that the clipper ones would be a better mainstream 4 dex combo, but what do I know, I've only one 4 dex in a row, and both times it was from a toe...

Your good Zeb, but I doubt my own eyes most of the time on combos like that.

Furthermore, I have never seen a clean pixie fusion. Let alone into a 4 dex trick.

Yeah, not to hate on anybody, but certain combos and tricks are just too fast to call "clean" or "the" with the naked eye. In the case of quad and quint dexes, I give props to people who can even hit them "the," because that in itself is a feat.

Some people claim that Vasek has hit a 5-dex, and claim that the fact that Ales saw it means it must have been good. Ales is a hell of a player, and probably has a good eye for "the," but it's too hard to really be able to see all 5 dexes happening clearly in that space of time with the naked eye. Similarly, watching 4 dex combos with the naked eye is asking a lot from the non-video viewer. Can you really be sure all 8 dexes were there?

The reason this thread isn't a total waste of time is:

a. there's actually a video in it showing somebody hitting two quads in a row.

and

b. seeing that a few people have possibly hit quad combos means that there are people out there with the speed and control to do them, so it's only a matter of time before we get more on video and can confirm them clean.
