I think that would be a better use of the term "squeeze".
Now, I voted for in and out of the trick, because thats when you have it really down, and even though I practice the way Zerbe mentioned, I don't really feel a trick is good and sealed til your ready to do it in shred, and to "seal" the trick to get ready to ship it out to the circle, I'd practice leading in and busting out of it.
But technically, yes, seal would be doing something after, merely closing the deal. I like to seal tricks that end with toe on Double ATW, nice pretty finish.

Sealing is a measure of control, and just as there are degrees of control, Id argue there are degrees of sealing. Obviously, hitting a trick midstring, hitting something hard out of it, shows the best control, and is sealed. But if you just do the trick and have a controlled handcatch, thats also sealed. I give more respect to the controlled handcatch than to the super-bail osis seal.
I also agree that sealing is level dependent. If a tiltless player seals a move with a legover, I consider that sealed. It a pro hits a move then has to run and osis it, I still consider it sealed, but not as worthy.
I think people should really try for a good seal after every move. Fournier once told me after learning a new trick, he tries to blurry out of it or spin out of it the same day. I respect that.
Ultimately nobody elses opinion matters on anything footbag related, Im just a big sealing fan, so I thought id throw my thoughts out there.
