Here it is, my 48th Birthday Footbag Bash video!

I didn't record much video because of the situation, so... the video isn't much.
As a companion to the video, my latest blog post contains some reflections on over 30 years of playing footbag.

Funky Chicken Celebrates 30 Years of Footbag on 48th B-Day
Thanks! and happy birthday!
You are an inspiration to me.
I am 42 (just about 43) - been kicking since i was 13 and played consistently over the years with a long break from 99' - 2010.
In the 90's i was very much into freestyle and had moved almost completely away from the "purist" style of doubles (or solo) consecutive kicking.
I wish i had not taken so much time off as it is much harder now than it would have been if i maintained my level of play from the 90's, a year ago i basically started again from scratch......ugh. Today aches and pains dont go away and oddly (maybe) it seems i dont adapt and "learn" as well as i did 15 yrs ago.
Nevertheless - your enduring commttment, commentary, and videos are both an inspiration and motivation for me to KEEP GOING.
Thank you

Not to depress you too much, but I'd say I lost the most in technical ability between 40-45. Since then, I've held pretty steady, just a slight decline.
That's actually one of the underlying reasons I'm doing my footbag video blog. I'm hoping to gather at least 5 years of data on how the aging process affects me, and thus other long-term freestylers as well. I've got 3 years worth so far. My goal is 5 years. My dream is 15.
And you can bet your ass I'm gonna chase after that dream.

Happy Birthday and Much Respect from an older kicker as well. You've got a great style, long strings and nice consistency.
I'm 43 (been kicking since I was 14) and kick freestyle too. I don't feel like I've lost my technical ability. In fact, I'm learning I'm starting to learn 4 and 5 add tricks. It's my consistency that I've always been at odds with. So I need to force myself to stick with 2 add tricks until my strings get longer.
I look forward to reading your footblogs and to start one of my own as well.
Keep on kickin,
Brian
