Four Aces

Post by mentor » 12 Sep 2006 20:53

TRIO brings you Four Aces…

This video contains action, fun and atmosphere. We all had a great time together and I will defiantly love to do it again. :D

The footage was shot in order to produce small teaser video clips for the TRIO website (http://www.footbags.dk/). We ended up with so much footage, that I was able to produce a solid TRIO promotion video in two versions…

Sooo basically, I have produced a special version with real sound and extra documentary footage. This one favours my favourite audience… players surfing footbag forums: http://www.footbag.org/gallery/show/-9958

Furthermore, I have also produced a normal version without real sound and no extra documentary footage. This one favours all kind of viewers and will be used as a promotion video on TRIO’s website: http://www.footbag.org/gallery/show/-9957

Warning: There might occur slurry, thin or even the tricks. :!:

Note: Let me remind you that we have an upcoming Danish Championships which among others will guest star three of the Four Aces. You are all welcome to join the fun, if you can find your way to Copenhagen! 8)

Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.

Solid. :D

I liked the multiple fearless stuff...the kind of thing where both players need to be super consistent or else it's going to take a LOT of tries to get the shot. :)

Thanks Mads.

This vid should be called 5 Aces. Because I am in it all the time.

Amazing video! And even more amazing to see in real life!
How they could just adjust their game to the other persons style.

I loved the motion clip with Honza and Jorden. It looked super sweet.
The symposium whirls also looked super sweet.

There were SO many interesting shots!!

PS vasek forgot his TRIO shirt he was wearing in this when he left Frankfurt, it now hangs on my wall. 8) :P

Yeah the Honza and Jorden sync stuff was the best I've seen anyone do that. Super clean, long strings with interaction. Great film.

COOL! :) :) :D :D :P :) :) :) :D :)

What would have been really dope would be to have the song "Moving In Stereo" by The Cars playing in the background for the beginning part of that.

This is what happens when Kevin stays up late.

Yeah, I was just messing with the vocal samples, I didn't put a whole lot of work into anything else.

Just some stutter-editing experimental bullshit on my part. :P

Thanks everybody… I am really glad you liked the Four Aces.

Kevin... you are the man :!:
Fantastic things happens when you stay up late and I find your “bullshit” stutter-editing quite amazing. Actually I like it so much, that I need to ask your permission to use it for a new trio film or for the website. I will send you a pm soon. :D

Yes.
These are the best players in the world in ONE video!
It's footbag at it's finest as well as exceptional video making.
I LOVED the extra stuff. There needs to be more of that in videos.

Mads, great video. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I like the special one more because it has outtakes and other shots of the players when they are just talking. It gives me an idea of what they are like in person.

Kevin, great song!
