Upular (bonus seven adds video)

Post by C-Fan » 03 Mar 2011 01:20

A few months back I got a new laptop and adobe premiere, and for the last couple months I've been learning the software by making short vids for my blog. The plan all along was to eventually put together a well-edited video, where the shred goes with the music. I finally felt confident enough with the software to do so, and here's the result.

It's short but sweet; I wanted something short enough to show to non-footbaggers, but have enough hard/interesting things to entertain shredders too. I hope I struck that balance.

The song is "Upular," by the Australian mashup artist "Pogo." The song is comprised of samples from the Pixar movie "UP!"

Please watch in HD. Comments on shred and/or editing are welcome. Thanks for watching.

I liked it. I love your whirling swirl tricks, they look great. I don't watch many vids but you look like your playing pretty good. Thanks for the vid.
I like to play.
I want to play good.

So good. Probably my favorite video of you I've seen.

My favorite part was the link at 0:43, so dope. The 7's looked great. Your blenders look really efficient.

The song is pretty sick too.

oh my god. Really exciting from beginning to end.

Loved the gig swirl and spinning mobius. That last string where you kept busting right through the gust of wind made me want to jump out of my seat.

Thanks everybody for watching, and thank you for the kind words. I'm glad people enjoyed the edit, and I appreciate the comments.

Because I used such a short song, I still have a lot of leftover footage, so once I find another song I like a lot, I'll try and make another video.

Thanks again everybody! :)
