Sport Slash Life Fearless Challenge: Feb 25-Mar 25

Dan Boyle's Sportslashlife site has a fearless challenge going on for the next month. More detail can be found in this post.

In a nutshell:
Overall competition is to see if somebody can hit 25 fearless
If nobody can get 25, then the highest attempt wins
For those of use who can't win, you can be in the running for a 32 panel bag prize if you submit a combo of 5+ fearless.

Submission instructions are in the link above, but my goal with this thread is different. I know I'm not going to get 25 fearless or win this contest, but I'm using it as an excuse to push my fearless game over the next month, and try and set new personal bests. I'm thinking categories like unique fearless, paradox whirl free fearless, etc.

So for the next month I thought it would be fun to have a thread to post videos of your fearless. If that means 3 unique, great. If it means 20, great. The only stipulation is that the footage must be shot between Feb 25 and March 25.

Thanks for starting this thread Ken - hope to see everyone put their fearless in here. The highest unique fearless will win $100 regardless of whether or not the 25 gets done, which also has a $100 prize.

I encourage everyone to put in any fearless in this thread. Also, you are allowed to submit your entry through this thread. If the videos are not 720p or greater, still submit them through, but they won't be eligible for the contest. Same with multiple fearless - for this thread, just post your best.

Also, I would like to see interest in an annual contest for fearless, with a big prize. Would people be interesting in contributing something to that prize?

That's my record on video 20. I did around 23 a few years back but may have had a repeat and it wasn't filmed. I'd like to get over 20 on film and I'd be happy. Im going to try again next session. When I first learned of this challenge, my immediate thought was that I wanted EVERYBODY to try it, and for them all to have the same goal: set a new personal best for fearless. That meant to me seeing the best fearless players get close to 30, myself beat 11, and everybody else beat their record by at least 1. So if you have only ever hit 1 five add, I hoped you'd get 2, and so forth.

I tried fearless on Saturday, and it wasn't happening. I had more success today:

I've updated the top post with the longest strings from Penske, Landes, and myself. Jim and Nick, is there any way you can put your videos on youtube or vimeo? Facebook is convenient, but over time those posts will disappear, and I don't want the links to die with them. I know something similar happened with Vasek's ripstein record he posted on Facebook, which is now lost to time. I'd be sad if a year from now I reopened this thread and some of the higher vids were gone.

On another note, I encourage players of all levels to post vids in this thread. I'd like to see everybody push themselves, from the best players to intermediates who are trying to get 2 in a row. You can do it!

Sick video Mark, but it's not the one I'm referring to. The one I was talking about was shot inside somebody's house, had more ripsteins, and was at an angle that you could see the dexes. I still stand by my original request: lets post important footbag videos on platforms where they will survive. Posting on Facebook, while convenient, is ephemeral. For something like this thread, I don't want to see videos disappear in a year.

I need to focus on my stamina before NOLA jam, so I'm likely done pushing fearless hard this month. That said, if I have a day when its flowing well, I'll try for more. But I wouldn't be surprised if this is my last significant post for the competition.
