Wonder if anyone noticed him..
Dude, that was Waylon Lew    Just because an Asian guy footbags, doesn't mean it's me! :x I'm so sick of this white-centric racist spor-..... oh wait a second, I did attend this jam

Seriously though, huge HUGE props to Matt Cross. My New Year's would have been big suck without this event. Instead, I said goodbye to 2005 and hello to 2006 surrounded by friends, doing the sport I love (No, I meant footbag, you perverts! :? ) What more could I ask for?

The venue was nice, we got free redbull the first day, and free water and snacks the second day. And the party at Matt's was great. Matt stepped up and made New Year's better for East Coast footbag. I truly can't thank him enough.

It was also cool meeting a ton of new players, and hanging out with old favorites. Props to Jon Schneider for bringing up a carfull of NYFA, and keeping my appearance a secret.

Expect an epic write-up in my fanzine soon, probably today.
Thanks for the good times Rochestah! 8)

Ted brought up the new generation of NYFA. John S brought up the old core: Bruce Dole (NYFA since 1996), Stan Sagalovskiy (NYFA since 2000), and myself (NYFA since 1997). Andrew Ivanyo also came up with us.

Any official results?

RACKETBAG!!!@!@!!!!!

Mosher, when he's not cheerleading, he's a barraging racketbag fool!
ImageImageImage

And our favorite lost child going for 'nemesis'...
ImageImageImage

nemesis(as played in racketbag)- setting the bag and catching it on the edge of the racket. Then inching it along on the edge, ultimately trying to get it all the way around to the other side of the racket. If you make it half-way it's a barrage. Toughest part is that upper ridge though.

Check out this original sentence: Thanks Matt!
Sweet venue, cool vibes, good stripp... (haha jk)

It was great seeing old and new faces. Sorry for not destroying at the competition -- I felt all queasy and gross, even a couple days beforehand.
Fun times hanging with ya Matt -- you always seem to have something funny to say. Best of luck in school dude.

P.S. host more jams!! :)

Thanks again to all the amazing people that came to my house and made my new year's eve an incredible, fun-filled night to remember! Next year is going to be even better! This jam was a perfect example of what east coast freestyle means to me... crashing together, partying together... kickers of all different varieties and levels of experience enjoying the footbag community in a beautiful venue with rockin music! I had a blast eating, sleeping, driving, partying, and living footbag style for the weekend!

Thanks to all those leaving comments and posting pictures, I love the memories. Keep 'em coming!

See you all at GRASS!!!

This event sounded awesome!

I wasn't really able to make it this year, but if it goes down next year, I'll try to make it out so I can see what I missed!

Even though I wasn't there, thanks Matt! It is because of people like you that people get a chance to attend jams like this.
