Hello!
Bad news. I have arrangements to get to Edmonton, but the flight may be over booked. So I will know for sure tomorrow, but it does not look that good. My sister works for the airline so this ticket is just like stand-by but almost free.
I would be leaving Iqaluit at 1:50 pm Friday June 15, 2007 on Canadian North and would arrive at the Edmonton International at 6:45 pm.
Whether I make it there or not I will donate a bag (which I would have to send) to the event to do with what they feel fit. Problem is, if I do not get there in person I will have to send it after the event to whomever wins it. So Byrin and Kevin will have to determine how it is won. Please let me know.
Again either way, if I make it there or not, I would like to express a big thank you to everyone for being so welcoming and helpful! Especially to Byrin and Kevin for offering their shredondo for me to stay at.
This sport produces so many top notch people, we should be the UN.
I hope some miracle happens and I can make it, but as soon as I find out for sure, I will post here again.
