Whether I make it there or not I will donate a bag (which I would have to send) to the event to do with what they feel fit. Problem is, if I do not get there in person I will have to send it after the event to whomever wins it. So Byrin and Kevin will have to determine how it is won. Please let me know.

Thanks! The bag can goto first place shred30. Hope you can make it!

also, can I buy a shirt and not compete in anything?
There can be 4square Friday night if people would like to play.
Yes you can buy a shirt and not compete. Individually the shirts will be $10.

Hey, why don't we leave earlier and try to make 7AM? We tend to always be late for things. If we're leaving at 4, why not make it, like, 2 for some leeway? Not a big difference, I don't think. Are you gonna have a map with directions, or something? I've only really done highway driving alone once and wouldn't want to make a wrong turn, or miss a right turn @_____@

I'm so excited to sleep in the car.. gonna be so tired. No sleep all week :(

if we leave at 4pm this afternoon we can make it by 7am. i don't want to drive all night, that'll just fuck me up bad, so i don't think that's going to happen. if we leave at 4am we make it there at 6 or 7pm. if you want to leave at 3 am we can do that too. as for a map, i'll see if i can find one. it's not a hard drive, i've done it before and there is signage. if i drive into edmonton i know where i'm going, so we should be just groovy.

I meant 7 PM >_________<
Let's make it 3 then. It sounded like Friday night shred was the big part of this event, and it would suck to miss it/be late. I'll drive first if it makes a difference. I just need sleep at SOME point. I'm too uptight to fall asleep while driving.

i take it you've never driven to saskatoon before? that drive would put a junkie hopped up on 8 balls and meth to sleep.

@ k-cro: i cut an 80 minute mix for you, but the program i'm using apparently won't let me record past 57 minutes and 6 seconds... so it's missing like 5 tracks. :? also, i train wrecked a mix in the middle because i was on the phone :x aaaand, not to keep making excuses, but my fader has a crossed circuit so it kept cutting in tracks, quite violently at times, any time i touched it. you can hear me queing in the background if i cut out too hard on the last mix:lol: any way, i'll cut you some other ones before worlds to make up for this crap.

Leaving after work tonight. I won't see you all until tomorrow though. I can't wait! Maybe I'll get in a shred tonight or something.

I made special arrangements for everyone that posted they were coming in this thread to get in for freeeee. The YMCA will have a players list at the checkin counter. That coupon thing is a good idea for spectators or other guests though. I printed off a couple. If anybody has any trouble getting into the Y please call my cell (number on front page).

Thank you to everyone for being so nice though. Hopefully next time.

Take care all and shred till your shoes fall apart.

B_man was kind of the main event. Dropless shred30, beast combo sick 3, and four 7's in five big trick attempts. He got upward motion on the one he missed (gyro blurry torque).

So yeah. He's pretty good.
