well, I'm going to have to miss the first day, or maybe not arrive until night, because I've got a gig I forgot about. But I am psyched, and will be there.

I doubt that I'll be able to do much any booking off of work for this, but with any luck I'll be working the 8 hour shift, and will be able to swing in after 3 on at least a couple of the days. Woooo! Should be fun!

This looks sick.

If it was possible to drive to Canadaland and I had a driver license, and a car.. I would go to this!

Have fun!

Whee!

I've been busting my balls pulling this all together, it's fun!

So, I got lots of info regarding reservations.

Sites are $32.50/night and can have up to 6 people on them. (They don't want tons of people piling into a site to prevent deterioration of the surrounding vegetation)

Here is the best plan:

1) One 'alpha' should step up as the 'leader' and make a reservation and then find a few others to stay with them.

2) To make the res. you go to this site:

http://www.ontarioparks.com/English/reservations.html

There are many campsites open for the weekend we want, so that won't be a problem, however we should all reserve early just incase.

On the reservation page you can pick from basically any site, however it'd make the most sense for us to be clumped together.

I will be visiting the campground today and afterwards I will declare what chunk of sites we should reserve.

Is there a fee for a daypass or something? I doubt I'll be able to stay all weekend but I definitely try to make for one of the days.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure you can cruise around the park for free during the day.

Also, as far as reservations go, I do believe that a credit card is required (once again, I'm not positive, but that's how it usually goes right?). I'm actually pretty excited for this. This is gonna basically be worlds for me. :P

Yes, of course I have a keyboard for skippy!

Cassy - if you want to just come for the day then it will cost you $13 to enter the park.

I've got more details!!!!!!!!!

I went and checked out the actual place where we'd be playing and it's PERFECT!!! Totally shaded and butter smooth with easy access to drinking water. YES!!!!

To get into the event site will be $13/day/car.

Also, at the event site there is a full-on disc golf course!!! We can either disc it OR footbag golf the course! baaam!!!

You guys are going to LOVE this!!!!

I'm not a hundred percent sure yet  , but I think my drummer may just be coming to this event, and he lives in Barrie  .
I will have confirmation on his attendance this weekend. And if he does come, I'm sure he wouldn't mind popping a few heads in his car if she taint full of music equipment. Mind having a snare or amp or guitar or floor tom on your lap :P ?

well like most footbaggers Im a skinny dude so I wouldnt mind cramming in a car for like an hour tour, I just gotta see if I can score the days off work, then Ill be stitching up bags, providing provisions (like some Octoberfest sausages for the campfire cookouts, yeah thats right Octoberfest in September!)

Alright, I am going to book the days off work hopefully tonight, but since the event is just in Oakville, my mother said she'd drive me before and after work anyway! Score! That would mean that from about 3:30 until 7:30 each day I could not be there, driving distance and whatnot, but I should be able to get the work off..

Also, Tom mentioned something about scrapping the campsite and having a mansion party...Intriguing? Either way, I want to figure out what I have to do for booking a campsite. Who needs people, who doesn't, blah blah, lets work something out!

Oh, and for working out a tent or whatever, it would be me+liam, so count two people.

I have 16 mats, for shredding, so tell me if I need to bring them as well!

Definately coming.

Once we know where to get our campsites, I'll reserve one. Who wants to split with me? EDIT: It comes to about $82.00 with all the taxes and junk. If six people split with me, it will cost $13.75 ($15 is easier... ) for the whole weekend. You can pay me at the sight.

I'm waiting for a few people to jump on board before I actually reserve the sight.

Bringing:
-Shred Gear
-Stitching stuff
-edit: Violin
-Harmonica
-mandolin
-clothes and cash and toothbrush and all that crap...

STOKED!!

Okay, I am gonna give the go ahead to go on and find 'sitemates'.

I have booked campsite #424:

http://www.camis.com/OP/camping/maps.asp?map=39

You can have up to 6 people at a site, if anyone needs help finding a place to stay just let me know!

Also, there is a now a Camp Wakahakee logo AND Pengpeng and I screened a whole pile of t's and hoodies! yippee!!

So go get into groups and then book a site next to me!!
(I think it'd be best if we keep the sites clumped together)
