I can't wait to go either.

"What is worlds like?" It's like a god took a net called footbag and cast it out into the sea of all humanity and gathered together the most interesting, driven, weird, awesome people you will ever meet and put them in one place for one special week out of the year where they will collectively shred and party more than you will possibly be able to handle.

By "handle", I mean that it's such a constant stream of footbag and fun that your physical need for rest is going to guarantee that you can't do it all. It's that intense.

"is it small? or is it like a huge thing with tons of footbag sellers and competitions?"

Based on your definition of "huge", I would say that it's huge.

"is there anywhere i can see picture of one of previous worlds footbag turn out?"

Let me google that for you.

Here is picture.

I see room prices are posted on the official page on footbag.org

It says 99$ per night, 4 persons to a room. Just making sure it actually means 25$ per person per night, right?

Worlds is like diving yourself into a tub of Cool Whip with every candy and chocolate condiment imaginable. Then you meet the real prize underneath and you gorge on it for days on end until you're full from indulging yourself in a week. :)

/trollin' <3

Worlds would be stellar if it were a 2 week event, but I feel that since the US Open is just on the weekend prior the hype (as it were a 2 week event!) will be possible this year. :D

I booked the time off from work just for this event. My wife's 40th B-day is on the last day of competition so I don't know if I will be there the entire time or not.
Go out and shred already.

Nice to see excitement here from the freestylers. I can't wait to see you.

Yes, rooms are $99 per night and if you have four persons in your room, then it is less than $25 per night.

All is going well with the event and It should be outstanding for everyone.

Stay tuned :)

Spending time with my family, boyfriend, and new people?
I don't think this could be anymore perfect.

this event is going to be off the hoook!
As a local stitcher, I will be doing a couple of fabric shop trips, one before the tourney, and one during, if any stitchers want to visit some heavenly fabric shops with crazy good prices ;)
Also, be stoked for the dispensaries of greens, they are the best in the world!!!

99% chance I'll be making it out to SF. How quickly do I need to commit to get a room? Will they book up soon?

brian - i totally forgot about the dispenseries.... lets add 1% to that 99. and i'd love to hit the fabric spot up too.

With how you eat you can get by on a grill and a pot and pan. One of if not my favorite worlds memory was a day in San Fran when the hosts had this guy? (forgot his name) Do a cookout for us. It was the best food ever, had free kegs of pyramid beer so I got a bit drunk but it was lots of fun.
