Sweet, thanks Mike and Brian! I got a pair of Quantum 3s at Worlds 2008, and the sole of the heel came off right away. Because of this, I could never clipper consistently in them, and only ever used them for toe tricks. It'll be nice to finally get them fixed, so I can experiment with them.

EDIT: looks like there are a bunch of shuttles from the airport to hotels on the Strip for $6.

EDIT: The Deuce bus only takes you around the strip, not from the airport to the strip. My bad.

Check google maps for the WAX from the airport to Excalibur. PS Excalibur rates are $35 per person per night right now. If you want a hotel room book now!

Taxi
Expect to wait in a huge ass line just to get a taxi outside of the airport. It is DisneyLand long. You will not pay less than $20 to get to your hotel, and they expect tips.

Hope this helps!

Awesome. I arrive tonight at 10:20 pm, and am only bringing a carry on. I'll call when I'm boarding, or if there's a delay.

Stoked to see people tonight already!

Brian I am expecting to buy at least 2, if not 3, bags from you. Like I said, anything I win at casinos is going straight to you. My goal is to leave with at least 2,000 footbags.

[I think I got out all of the Chicago vs. Palatine smack talking posts. They don't belong in an event thread or on the forum. Let's keep things civil, or figure out how to step away from the keyboard.]

FYI, the weather is going to be about 75 F (23C) every day of the jam. Winds light. Perfect shred weather if you ask me.

got back home after like.... 18 hours in airport hahaha! Delayed flight and bla bla bla. At least i'm alive and had a gooooood time at vegas jam :)! Even managed to play a bit, maybe a bit mopre then 1 hour in the whole jam, wich was totally unexpected :). I'll keep resting for few more days to be sure everything is ok...

Was a pleasure meeting some new faces (Nate and Ben in particular; i have seen so many videos of you)! Thx to Ken, Mike and Kevin for being the perfect roomates haha! Was also cool to see some new players i had never seen before : Mike, Anton, Chris and more.

Thx to Evan for organizing everything, especially the transport! And for allow me to crash at his place few days before the jam, for driving me to the red rock park and all the other things haha!

I already miss that pool :D!

Awesome Awesome jam. I had a great time. Glad to see old friends and to meet the rest of you.

I didn't say goodbye to very many people since I left early, but that's okay. See you next time!
